I think that the BA Ddeath company should have the rage rule replaced for another rule, or at least changed to not make them so sucky. Currently, using Death company like a normal squad is basically giving your enemy another squad on the table, he can move them around as he see's fit as long as he keeps the death company chasing something, which i think is just plain ridiculous.
At the very least give BA Chaplains a rule which allows Death company squads to be controlled within a certain amount of inches of the Chaplain, or - though it may seem to some bordering on crazy to some - Giving Astorath the Grim the capability of allowing death company within (for instance) 12'' of himself to be controlled normall.
Even including a nerf rule which made it so that you had to roll every movement phase to make sure the Chaplain kept control of them would be awesome.

Did you miss the part about Death Company being literally death incarnate against pretty much anything they go up against? Besides, rage only forces you to move the closest model towards the closest enemy, as long as you keep coherency you're free to move the rest as you want. You don't even have to charge the closest unit, or indeed charge at all. Not to mention that rage doesn't matter in transports. Adding control options to DC รก la 4th edition Chaplains would turn Death Company into a no-brainer point-and-click unit instead of a unit that's good if you use them properly. That's a big no-no for me.

I don't see it. Death Company are drooling, bloodthirsty, imbecilic animals. Well, more so than the norm for Blood Angels. Giving the ability to exert fine control over them would be almost as dumb as the past edition's Blood Angels codicies. Ya know, the one where you would roll to see how many went nuts? People would be *praying* for more of their men/Power Armored Freaks to fall to their thirst. Was really dumb.

"I went into a hobby-shop to play m'self a game,
The 'ouse Guru 'e up an' sez "The Guard is weak and lame!"
The Chaos gits around the shelves they laughed and snickered in my face,
I outs into the street again an' grabbed my figure-case."
Oh it's "Angels this" an' "Space-wolves that", and "Guardsmen, go away!";
But it's "Thank you for the ordnance" when the Guard begins to play,
O it's "LOOK AT ALL THE ORDNANCE!" when the Guard begins to play.."

Im kinda newish to BA codex's so im not to familiar with the past rules, however, i think at-least some control as the chaplains have in the fluff would be nice, not toal control just alittle more then currently given, something like 5'' from the chaplain iif 12'' is too much.

then make the chaplin more expensive, maybe 30-50 more points as he now as more powers and can control a devastating unit

Rage really isn't that bad once you learn how it really works. Learn how conga lines work and you'll realize that Rage isn't nearly as limiting as you once thought.
