This question might get me blasted, but I thought I'd put this out there because it has been on my mind.

Q: Does Jaws of the World Wolf affect Jump Infantry?

Played RAW, I'd definitely say no. But (please entertain this 'but') due to the GW FAQ, I'm led to believe differently. Fluff being that sinc they're JI, they can fly above it, right? Well look at this..

Here's my case- GW FAQ.

"Q: Does Jaws of the World Wolf affect Jetbikes?...
A: Yes, because 'Jetbikes' is a subcategory of the 'Bike' unit type."

If the FAQ tells us that Jetbikes, which could easily fly over/around that power would be affected, then would Jump Infantry be affected since I would consider them "sub-category" of Infantry? I think yes. Let me know what you think.

Jump Infantry are not a sub category of Infantry. They are a completely separate class of unit.

Jetbikes area sub category of bikes because they are specifically listed as such in the rulebook.

Basically, don't expect common sense to be relevant to 40K
