Just a quick WIP shot (sorry for the poor quality, I've been painting for 6 hours and i'ts 4 in the morning and I'm really tired and I'm not too worried about pic quality right now) of the Grand Master I whipped up a few days ago from the new plastic Terminator kit. Just got around to painting him earlier tonight, and 6 hours later, I was left with this. He's mostly done, I just need to properly base him now. Just not sure how to do it exactly. I'm thinking either an autumn/winter scene, or a bushy foiliage one. I've already done a lot of urban basing, so I'd like to stay away from that. Any ideas?

As ever, very good.....Drill the barrels though!!!

I would drill barrels for the storm bolter... just don't drill them horribly like the GW 'eavy metal guys did in all the GK pictures.

Other than that, it looks very nicely done. Good detail, good color scheme. I had to turn up the gamma on the photo a lot to see a lot of the details, but once I did, I have to say it looks very crisp.
