Earlier i made a thread about interchanging weapons and now i got another modeling question. Can you make small changes to SM armor? for example, i think it would be really cool to put CSM helmets on Space Wolves. Surely such a subtle change can be legal, right? And im only really talking about changes that don't change armor stats or special abilities. Would you be allowed to do that and use the model for gaming purposes?

Yes, you can swap the bits over.

ALL of the plastic SM bits are interchangeable with the other plastic SM or CSM bits.

Breast/backplates, arms, pauldrons, legs and heads.

Space wolves with CSM bits are how the "13th company" were made up (Lost SW company who were chasing and killing CSM inside the Eye of Terror, they returned briefly for the EoT campaign).

If its a space marine with power armor and a bolter, even a mash up of loyalist and traitor parts, its legal. So yes, feel free to mix up the armor if you want.

EDIT: Haha beaten by 30 seconds.

Yes, you can do that with just a drill and paperclips, Just drill the neck part on the armor and helmet, then suplerglue a pivot made from paperclip into the helemt hole. It will also allows you to rotate the head
