If i have 2 IC's that can cast Hammerhand in the same unit.. Does my unit get the effect of the Power being cast twice on itself? i.e +2 to str. Or..should i read the codex and stop asking questions?lol

Yes, you gain the effect it of it twice.

Anything not explicitly telling you to only add it's bonus once, may be used multiple times.

Or anything not using the words "a unit with A..." will allow stacking - for example Waagh banners have "a unit with a....", meaning if you have 1 or 20 the unti is still +1 WS

i couldnt find another thread on this, so instead of starting a new one, ill hijack this one.
if a librarian with hammerhand and might of titan joins a unit of palladins... the palladins can use thier hammerhand, followed by the libby using hammerhand and might of titan for +3str on the unit?

Or you could simply activate the NFW, it's not like S7 is that much better than S6, except for punching tanks.
And yes, with two libs it's S9+3d6 to penetrate in CC.

Of course, if you upgrade your librarians, then they can also cast quicksilver, making them initiative 10. Then you don't have to have the halberd...you can keep the extra +1 to your invul with the NFS. Make sure someone has a brotherhood banner too...that way it's 3 base attacks instead of 2 for the unit. Automatically Appended Next Post: Honersstodnt wrote:s9+3d6 penetration...

actually you'd have to roll 3 ones in order NOT to penetrate...unless it's a furioso, in which case you'll need at least one 2.

S10+6D6 armor pen
or
S10 Init 6 force weapons
This is why i'm pretty sure Hammerhand and Might wont stack through multiple castings.
Might + Hammerhand, sure, that's what the rules explicitly allow.
6x Might + Hammerhand, I'm going to bet otherwise.

Wow, so you get 12 bad-ass awesome assault units that destroy anything they touch, for nothing but the cost of two HQ slots and 910 points, who still die as easily to anything designed to kill terminators.
