Well I am still grogy and no photos (sorry folks, its one of those battle reports), but I wanted to write up how the tourney went from a deamon prospective.

Ok I really thought I had a shot at winning all 4 games today and that was going to be my goal. I was going to have all three objectives in mind for each game and stop trying to accomplish them, only if it was necesary to get the win.

Ok so a standard wolf list. I match up ok, as those wolves with SS can either die easily, or take all game, a 3++ is tough to guestimate. Lots of KP, A bit of range, but only the few Las/plas, and a little melta scare my grinders, so they were going to be my main pressure units, and the crushers would hopefully take all the shooting.

I win roll off and have him go first (So I can see what quarters he will be in at games end.

Board is mostly Planet Strike type terrain. A landing pad is on the short board edge in the middle. A bastion in his deployment zone. Lots of LOS blocking terrain, especially on my long table edge. A few craters between us we play as area terrain. He deploys in the quarter with the bastion. 2 Rhinos on the edge of the 12" from the center(priest in one), fangs and a razorback (empty) on the pad. Other fangs are on the bastion, with their razor back below the pad. T. Wolves sat on either side of a rhino ;with the lord attaching to the 3 wolf squad, and the full razorback (hunters) was next to the bastion on the edge of his deployment zone, with the table quarter unoccupied on his table edge. He pops smoke on the rhinos, and sits still. I figure he is a little cautious since I am not on the board, but now I can box him in (hopefully)

My Turn 1. Wave 1. Crushers, Fiends, Screamers, Grinder, Small Horrors, Herald of Tzeench) Roll: Get preffered wave.

Horrors drop on my half the board near the landing pad to shoot the fangs on top. Grinder lads near them and stunst the razorback on top. Chariot is also in this area and finishes off the razorback(wrecked). Crushers land near the full Hunter Razor to threaten his main part of the army. Screemers land in the center near my table edge. Fiends are in almost the exact center of the table and run into cover towards the crushers.

His Turn 2. He rolls up the rhino full of Grey Hunters 6" to melta the grinder. We measure from the hatch and it is close. We d6 it and he is not in melta range. He does nothing to the grinder. Long fangs fire and blow off the grinders face. The rest of his army shoots crushers, killing one wounding one. Jaws kills the icon in the crusher squad (Hmmm that might be a problem). Wolves go to charge Fiends and it is close again. I won the roll off for the melta guns, so I look at it as a jump ball situation, so I give him the charge without the roll off. He kills all the fiends but one taking no wounds in return. I hit and run towards his army. The 2 Wolves with Sheilds go barreling into the 5 Crushers and Herald of Khorne and take no wounds, they put 4 wounds on me.

My 2. I roll reserves and get the 7 horrors. I land them near the first squad for operation: frustrate the fangs untill they shoot at us and not the soulgrinder. Not much for reserve, but thats fine, its early. Grinder walks up to the rhino full of guys that just melta'd his face off. Herald pops their ride. I am thinking, finaly something went my way, I can lock in and not get shot while I kill Grey Hunters. My lone fiend goes to hit the other rhino. Horros Kill a Fang sergaent. Screemers Turboboost next to the landing pad. The greyhunters that are sitting in the crater looking at the grinder break, and the grinder is left in the open. His squad falls back but luckily the fiend is within 6". I fail to do a wound to his 2 wolves with my crushers. He does a few wounds with that fist and I am down to 3 crushers (some wounded) and a wounded Herald.

His 3. Wolves chase down and kill the lone fiend. His shooting does nothing to the grinder. His falling back squad rools an 11" for its fallback move and is off the board. He shoots at the screemers and kills 1. He also frags the horrors in the large squad and kills 3. Frags the small squad and kills 2. Crushers do no wounds AGAIN and now Im down to a wounded Herald and 2 crushers.

My 3. Reserves. I get the 5 man plaguebearer squad. Thats it, the GUO, other grinder, 6 more fiends and 5 screemers are still in reserve. Plaguebearers drop in the Quarter opposite his deployment zone since it is the least threatened and run behind som LOS blocking terrain 20" or so from the center of the board. Grinder pops the rhino with the grey hunters and preist. Horrors kill a couple missle launchers on the pad. Screamers kill the razorback under the pad. Herald gets on top of the tallest buidling to start pecking at fangs, but kills none. Herald of Khorne wakes up and his SS finaly quiet down as I kill 1 of the 2 T wolves, and wound the other. I am down to a wounded herald, and one wounded crusher.

His 4. Wolves come in and kill the last crusher, but his lord fails to wound the herald. I finish the last of the small squad. His melta guns from the forcibly disembarked hunter squad immobilize my grinder. He wounds my herald of Tzeentch. His 6 man Razorback full of scoring unit moves along his board edge 12" to get in the quarter unoccupied by either of us.

My 4. I get all my reserves. I land the GUO far from his Jaws priest in the quarter his Razor just moved in. Grinder lands in the same quarter to threaten his wolves and it lands in terrain, getting immobilized. Fiends land off the P. Bearers icon behind the LOS blocking terrain to threaten the large Hunter Squad on the prowl. Herlad shoots the large hunter squad and kills a couple. Screamers boost into his deployment zone in the corner to contest in case he falls back. Herald dies after wounding his lord.

His 5. He runs his hunters to get his Priest within 6" of the center. His 2 Fangs on the Pad go to fish off the changeling and 2 horrors when the glamour of tzeentch forces them to fire on the other Fang squad. He frags the screemers that just arrived and kills them all. T wolves run back to clear his deployment zone of screemers but he is a few inches short of the charge.

My 5. Herald of Tzeentch moves to within 6" of the center of the board but now cant shoot the fangs contesting the quarter with my horrors. The 2 small units of horrors (3 each) fire at the 2 fangs and kill them both. Herald of Tzeentch kills another Grey Hunter and wounds the Rune priest. (allocated to save a morale roll). I dont really want to assault taht unit with the fiends since I have to go through terrain, but I have to. I assault. He kills 2 Fiends before I swing. I kill the priest and 3 hunters.

We roll to see if the game ends and it does. I have an HQ within 6" of the center. I have him in KP by 3, and I have the quarter with the Plaguebearers. It gives me all 3 objectives, but that score was not indicitive of how close the game was. Grinders were not very threatening at games end since they were immobile, but they sure absorbed some shooting. Crushers were a let down, but nothing you can do when a SS is rolling hot. I move on and go to round 2 looking forward to seeing who my opponent is. I feel optomistic as my luck as a whole was rough for most of that game, with a couple lucky breaks. I needed those reserves turn 3 to kill those wolves, but it all worked out in the end. Awesome game, that was close, cant ask for more than that.

This army is a tough match up for me as my deamons do not like lots of shooting. It also melees well, and has walkers that can stall my crushers.

We roll off and I win and choose to go first so he doesnt spread out.

The board has a buidling in the very center about 3-4" high and area terrain spread throughout the board. He puts the BW front and center. 3 Kans on each side. Lootas in area terrain on each side of that. Big boyz mobs behind the lootas, with Big Mek behind the wagon. Deff Dred was on the weaker flank (boyz wise). His deployment zone was nearly full.

I plan to start using the tongue from range on the battlewagon, and press those boyz mobs with my crushers and fiends. Lets see what the dice say.

Turn 1. Preffered wave. Grinder, Crushers, Fiends X2, Screemers, small horrors. Roll and get it.

I drop the grinder 20" or so from the battle wagon for a side shot and I scatter 12" right at him. I try dropping crushers about 12" away or so and they scattered 11" away from the orks back towards my table edge. Fiends try to drop in the center and drop 10" away from the orks as well. My other fiend unit stuck. The building would give them cover from one loota squad but not the one on the weeker flank. The horrors dropped near the lootas for operation peck at the lootas. Screemers land behind the grinderr in case His battle wagon goes for the grinder. My tongue missed and I spread out and run a few inches towards him. Horrors kill a loota.

His 1. Lootas on strong flank kill all the screemers. Deff rolla smacks the grinder but does nothing. Boyz mob in the area charges the grinder, and immobilize it. I kill some orks with the grinder. His other lootas and kans wound a crusher. He advances a little.

Top 2. I get GUO and horror unit from reserves. I plan on dropping the GUO to pin his strong flank since all he has is a boyz mob and his lootas. The Horrors land and both units fire on the lootas killing 3 or 4. Fiends run over to help the grinder. Other fiends move up to hit his Kans. Fiends get three pens but all rolls are 1's or 2's. They also wrap up the dred and knock an arm off. Other fiends kill lots of boyz but the surviving boyz kill three fiends. His nob blows up my grinder and the explosion kills more boyz dropping him below fearless. He breaks and is run down. That is unfortunate as My fiends are in the open vs all that firepower.

His 2. His shootas in the battle wagon disembark and their shooting kills another 2 fiends. His lootas and shoota boyz fire on the GUO that is about 8" away and he does 8 wounds. Should be no problem as its a 4+ with FNP and I faill........7 wounds killing the GUO. Hmmmm. Ardboyz kill the last fiend. Fiends kill all the kans but not the deff dred. I hit and Run the fiends but after explosions and the previous round of shooting I am down to 4. Lootas attempt to fire and I say "changeling" and since he was below 7 orks he decides not to shoot.

My 3. I roll reserves and get the plaguebearers and screemers. I drop the PB's in the center off the crushers and the screemers behind the crushers. Horrors finish off the Lootas. Crushers advance and get another 1" run not moving them too far forward but I am about 16" or so from his boyz and 10" from his Deff dred. The last few fiends alive hit the large boyz mob with the Big Mek and kill him for the KP. Fiends go down.

Bottom 3. His Ard boyz are walking freely to the objective in my deployment zone and their is nothing I can do about it now that the GUO is dead. He shoots a bunch at one horror unit. I go to ground for a 3+ and keep 2 alive to save the KP. His Boyz advance and shoot a lot, wounding up most my crushers.

Top 4. Grinder comes in and shoots the Deff dred knocking another arm off. Herlad shoots also, pens it, but he cover saves. Crushers hit the Meks old unit and begin to chew them up. The herald also makes contact with the dred and the S7 charge finishes the Dred. A few crushers go down at this point.

Bottom 4. Ard Boyz are camped. Wagon is coming over to hit the grinder and he blows it up. Shooting wounds up my herald as his lootas only had a shot a piece. His last 30 boy mob is making its way to all the action in the center.

Top 5. He has 2 objectives, I have not killed half his kill points, but I have more units in his deployment zone. I use the herald to shoot one of his Kans dead. My crushers charge the Wagon as well as the herald charges the kans. Herald blows one up and stuns the other. The crushers hit the fast wagon and blow it up as well. I consolidate into the Kan, hiding from his guns. due to charging over the Kan wreckage and explosions I am down to 2 wounded crushers and a wounded herald. PB's guard the objective in the center out of LOS from the lootas.

Bottom 5. His 30 boy mob moves up and charges the crushers, killing all but the herald. I kill a few orks. Things are tight and the back of the boyz mob is still within 3" of the other objective, besides the one his Ard Boyz are camped on. We each have killed half of the KP from our armies, and I have more units in his deployment zone. We roll and the game continues.

Top 6. I am not going to take objectives, but if I throw enough into the boyz, maybe I could wittle them down, if I ignore them, they will kill everything I have left. Herald of Tzeentch and PB's had to charge into the melee to help out my Herald of Khorne with 1 wound left. PB's do only 1 wound and he puts it on the nob. I kill 1 or 2 orks with the herald of Tzeentch. He does not kill my herald of Khorne but does a wound or two to the Tzeentch herald.

Bottom 6. Lootas attempt to kill horrors but I go to ground in terrain. We melee some more and I kill some boyz. He kills my herald.

We roll and the game continues.

Top 7. More melee madness not much damage either way as the herald is in base with the Nob and the 4++ is holding.

Bottom 7, not much dies and the game ends. He has 1 objective to my 0. I have three units in his deployment zone, He has 1 in mine. We each killed half of each others KP. Lets go to VP.

I have a Herald of Tzeentch, and plaguebearer squad alive along with the large unit of horrors and half the small unit. My screemers are also alive. He has his lootas and Ard boyz in complete tact. He also has one busted up Kan for half points from that unit. We add up the number of orks from the mess in the center and he has exactly 15 left. He is at half, not below and that wound he put on the Nob was huge. He gets max points for the unit and it gives him a 300 VP margin. My heart sinks as this means I have lost. If I had killed one more ork in the mob he would have been below half giving him 125 less VP making it a draw.

I am fairly dejected as I have almost no hope of moving on now. I really blame the drops as I scattered to far away with the Crushers as they were a threat too late in the fight, and allowed his shooting to peck a few crushers on the way in. The grinder turn 1 scattering at him, and the GUO dying so easily didnt help either. I cant complain about the game as it was an awesome game. He was a great sport and I had a good time so I cant complain. Just one darn Ork short. I think to myself...you know, a few folks didnt show, there were bound to be some draws....I only missed 1 objective (tiebreakers)......perhaps if I maxed objectives from here forward I could find a way in. I refused to give up the chance to make it to the final 16 as I really wanted a chance to play for the top spot.

Round three would be Mech Guard with 9 chimeras, 14 vehicles in total.



Side Note: This ork player I lost to was the guy who lost in the semi finals on Sunday to the overall champion, finishing 4th or so overall out of the 200+ players, so I dont mind at all losing to him as he was a solid player.

I win roll off and have him go first so I can take objectives in bottom of the turn. I didnt want to mark a troop as it would mean killing 4 chimeras worth of guys, so Hellhound it was. He marked my 5 man plaguebearers.

Terrain is 5 pieces of area terrain evenly distributed, with a buiding on one short edge of the board in the center. He deploys his chimeras against his board edge with the Russ in the center in front. Hellhound that is marked is in the extreme corner surrounded by the HQ and command chimeras.

Top 1. He pops some smoke.

Bottom 1 Preferred wave Crushers, Fiends, screamers, Herald, small horrors, Grinder. I do not get that wave, I get 2ndry (Screemers, GUO, PB, larger horror unit, fiends, and grinder) My Marked for death unit will be on the board. I have to go right at him and start hitting tanks. Screemers land behind the building to start causing havoc in the next couple turns. PBs drop out of site and run into terrain near an objective. Grinder drops on the week flank (opposite where the hellhound that is marked is sitting). GUO tries landing front and center but scatters 8"away from the guard. Fiends drop in the center but get into cover. Horrors dont have the guts to take a bolt shot and run behind the building with the screemers nearby. I do no damage and wait for the storm to begin.

Top 2. He unloads nearly every scatterlaser, H bolter at the fiends and drops 3. All missiles and Lascannons go to the grinder, but all he manages is a stun the is ignored. GUO doesnt take a shot as the fiends had his attention. A horror is seen and shot. Not to bad after all the shooting. Now I have to capitalize, but what do I hit?


Bottom 2 Reserves gets me more screemers, and Crushers. I want to land the crushers safely off the icon, but it is too far away from the action. I have to risk a scattered drop. I roll and......scatter.......2" forward. Crushers are 6 or 7" away after my full circle. GUO goes after the live Hellhound that went 12" to flame my fiends. I get 1 "6" out of 5 attacks to hit...pen...and blow up the hellhound. The 3 fiends hit the demolisher and take off its cannon as well as stun it. Grinder hits a Russ and stuns it as well as immobilizes it. Screemers turboboost and are about 10" away from him but out of LOS. Not all the damage I was hoping for, but the crushers were in.

Top 3. I can tell hes not thrilled about the mass of deamons within charge range so he unloads EVERYTHING into the crushers killing 2 and wounding all the rest (including the herald). Grinder is still in base with the Russ and I pop it. He moves his demolisher over 6" to keep the melee attacks down.

Bottom 3. Reserves give me the other fiends, and more horrors, as well as a grinder. Grinder lands near the other grinder on the board but about 8" further back. The new grinder pops the side of the demolisher with tongue. My original grinder hits a chimera with a ML inside and blows it up. A fiend hits another chimera and immobilizes/stuns it. Screemers Kill another chimera, and the crushers hit a chimera immobilizing it.

Top 4. He dashes the Hellhound 18" to keep me from hitting it easily. His shooting kills the screemers and the crushers, as well as the small fiend unit.

Bottom 4. Herlad of Tzeentch arrives. One grinder (further away one) shoots and misses a russ. Other grinder hits a squad in the open (after I poped their ride with tongue) but doesnt break the squad. GUO kills a chimera and the squad inside runs off the board. Fiends (full strength) hit the hellhound, but do nothing. All bolts go to the hellhound, but do nothing but keep it from shooting. Herald of Khorne kills the command squad.

Top 5. He dashes the hellhound again. He shoots some fiends but kills 1, wounds another. Screemers are shot up. His lone mobile chimera this turn makes a dash for the objective in the center of the board to tie up objectives.

Bottom 5. Grinder eats the squad in the center to clear the objectives. Fiends make another swing at the Hellhound and this time 20+ attacks wreck it.(Scwew!) GUO and screemers are eating squads and chimeras. Grinder breaks the squad it is locked with.

We roll and the game continues. His shooting doesnt do much, I have more than enough to wipe him out in my turn and I ask if he wants to play the bottom half of the turn. He says no and we call it there.

I had KP, objectives, and killed the Marked for Death unit. Thats 8 out of 9 objectives for the day with a glaring loss form the previous round. Opponent was a good sport. He had the pleasure of gunning down the crushers, but with the exspense that few guns went towards the screemers/GUO who were killing his chimeras. He had nothing for the grinders after turn 2 and the grinders killed 3 Russ' and a few chimeras, as well as a couple squads.

That round went perfect. I needed another round of 3 objectives achieved to have a chance.

We roll off and I win and chose to go 2nd. Its D. Of War and I want to see where he comes in before I drop. I also want last chance at the objectives.


He deploys both choopa squads as far forward (24") as possible with 2" between every ork and spreads them around filling a large portion of his deployment zone. Its another planet strike board with landing pad on one short table edge in the center, a few LOS blocking buildings, and some craters.

He rolls everything on, moves the large ork mobs forward and runs for operation: fill the board with orks for deepstrike problems. Ghazz. attaches to Snikrot (gasp) but it is legal.

Bottom 1. I want Crushers, fiends, grinder, screamers, small horrors, and GUO. Get it. I drop the grinder on the flank with the Nob Bikers, but near my board edge. I take a pot shot at the bikers, but nothing. Crushers land near my edge but on the opposite flank. Fiends do the same. Screemers land on the pad. Fiends and GUO land behind a building also near my edge. Horrors drop and scatter 2" from the lootas. I unload in the open and kill 4 lootas.

Top 2. He charges the horrors with choppas and kills them. A shoota boy mob hits the grinder and he immobilizes it. Some shots hit the crushers, but not much else happens. No Ghazz.

Bottom 2. I get herald of Tzeen., Grinder. My grinder I place against my table edge waiting for Ghazz's arrival. GUO and crushers get good move through cover rolls and hit one of the choppa squads. I throw the screemers in for some extra hits. I kill many (18 or so with combat res.) but he shrinks my screemers down to 1. He leaves orks on the GUO and Screemer forcing my crushers to consolidate in both directions and the melee is spread out over 18" or so. The fiends are right on the edge of making it into the melee with the grinder and I make it by less than a half inch. Well worth the risk as I proceed to kill 10-15 boyz but he destroys the grinder and kills a couple fiends. I drop my herald behind his Nob Bikers hoping he will bring the bikers back for the easy KP. My straegy so far has been drop the easy KP with the hope that it puts him in a position that he cant support his other units. Of course bleeding KP vs a low KP army may come back to ahunt me.

His 3. Ghazz shows up and WAAAGGGHHHS. Ghaz hits the grinder I left against the Board edge as it was his only real target. Ghazz attacks and pen rolls are not great as he mearly immobilizes me. Bikers shoot and charge the herald, killing it. Fiends kill more orks, but get chewed up as well. The crushers in the other melee cant hit much due to the spread out fashion and one ork survives leaving me locked going into my turn.

Bottom 3. Fiends arrive, screamers arrive, PB's arrive, horrors arrive. Fiends have a little secret project called "see if the Grinder holds out so you can hit the komandos and break Ghazz. Screamers scatter into the far corner of his deployment zone behind a building. PB and Horrors land off crusher icon to start grabbing objectives scattered around the board. I am down on KP and not near his objectives yet. I finish off the last ork and the crushers and GUO rush forward. They (crushers and GUO)are about 12" or so from the center line. Ghazz knocks 2 weapons off the grinder, but it lives. Fiends kill all but 1 Nob and are down to 2 themselves. I dont want the bikers to be able to charge me next turn, and even though I want to kill that last Nob so bad I have to hit and run to get behind a building that blocked LOS. The last nob falls away from me.

Top 4. Ghazz whiffs again doing no damage. Shooting puts a wound or 2 on the GUO. His bikers have to move away from my crushers to get shots on the fiends, but he finishes them off. At this point I have an objective in his deployment zone, but he has 2. Neither of us have one in my zone but his bikers are near 2, and he is up about 4-1 on KP.

Bottom 4. Crushers move up and hit the lootas, killing them all. Fiends that arrived last turn hit the kommandos only, kill every one of them, and Ghazz breaks, and is run down. Well that was a quick 3 KP. PB's fall back from the action to spread out between an objective just on his side of the center line, and 12" or so on my side. Screemers Boost to go contest in Biker town in the opposite corner next turn. Horrors fire on the lone Nob but only do a wound GUO is going to have to go contest the bikers, and I dont have a choice.

Top 5. Shoota boys in his deployment zone are about 10" from the crushers. He fires but does very little serious damage. He can charge and get the attack bonus, but 2 rounds of melee with the crushers might finish him, so he does not charge. Nobs grab 2 objectives in my zone.

Bottom 5. Horrors fiish off the last Nob from the squad that charged the grinder way back on turn 1. Screemers boost but cant quite contest the bikers objective. GUO moves over as well to that area of the board. Crushers hit and devastate the ork squad.

We roll and the game continues. Bikers want to charge but try gunning down my horrors for the easiest KP as well as keep them from getting antoher objective. I go to ground to keep them alive as KP is tight. Crushers finish the orks off. I consolidate to his Bikers.

Bottom 6. I move at him and contest one of his objectives with the GUO. Crushers are right behind. We roll to see if the game ends and it does not.

Top 7. He is down on KP so he sends the Warboss out to kill the GUO while the bikers camped on an objective away from my crushers. He fires at my screemers but thanks to the T-Boost 3 of them live. Warboss hits and my GUO has only 2 wounds left. I swing first and hit 4 times, then wound 4 times. He rolls invul saves and.............2,2,4,5. Dead.

Bottom 7. Screemers Boost to contest his only objective. My palguebearers spread out scoring one in my zone and 1 in his. I have more in both deployment zones giving me 2 of the mission objectives, and killing the Boss gives me a 2 KP advantage. I take all three mission objectives again. That was an awesome game. The grinder fighting Ghaz. really was the hero of the game with the GUO being a close second. Also the screamers contesting the last objective was also pretty big.

So I finish the tournament with a loss, but I scored 11/12 objectives. Only 3 players scored more on the first day. I am first alternate(17th place) for Sunday in case someone doesnt want to play at 7AM Sunday morning. The heartbreaking loss from round 2 seems like a week ago as there is new hope that maybe I will have a shot at those top 16 players. I show up at 6:30AM on Sunday in case of a no show...and..........everyone came. Ouch. No hope for the comeback kid I was an ork boy from a draw on round 2 and it cost me. If I had gotten in I would have faced Tony (the eventual winner) round 1 as he was the #1 seed. I think my deamons would have matched up well against his power armour army, but Ill never know. It would have been great to get a chance to play a solid player like him to see if I could pull it off.

As it was my friend Cole made it all the way to the top table and lost to Tony in the final round. Cole and I have a pretty good rivalry since we play localy all the time and I was happy to see him do so well.

As a whole A-con was awesome this year. It ran smooth with all the people and events going on. I had a blast and am kind of sad its a whole year away. Back to the real world tommorow and I am still exhausted 24 hrs. after the event ended. Our team did well also, finishing in 4th so I cant complain.

Great report and I love to see you running SG. They get a ton of flak from most Daemon players and they definitely showed their worth in these games.

You were pretty light on troops, I am of the opinion the troops are the weakest point in the Daemons codex, thoughts?

No the troops can be strong. I almost ran a 18 deamonette strong unit instead of the 2nd Grinder and the 5 man horrors. I actually like the 5 man bloodloetters with this army type sometimes because the herald can choose to drop with them to make them mre survivable, or they can link up with him late game as a really nasty scoring unit to go melee. Their troops that can melee well (bloodletters or deamonettes) are great to go get objectives as they can kill troops and usually get them out of rides with rending, or furious charge.

Wow and bravo on your performance overall! i might be new to many of the codexes (or simply have no clue what they say inside) but from reading over other reports and glancing at the codex, you did a very good job, not only playing with them, but in terms of how you adapted and overcame some sticky situations. once again, nice work on getting some revenge on those greenskins

The killer is that he's been my only loss at two other GTs, and this time at first it looked like I had him. I was actually leading on KPs for most of the game, we were both owning our own side objectives, and then my Chosen and Terminators showed up to mess with his backfield and take his away from him. But then they failed the heck out of their saves, simultaneously leaving him securely in control of his own side and giving up the KP lead. And I suddenly had to start playing from behind, which led to the loss. Great game.

Great job Norbu!! Always good to see other deamon players doing well. =) I didn't get enough objectives to score well for qualifying but over all I scored 17th place so Ironically Deamons took that spot either way you scored the system this year. Also good to see someone else running Grinders I get flak for bringing them all the time. =P
