I recently ordered some stuff from ArmorCast and the stuff is still 'processing' and the stuff was supposed to have been here Friday-Tomorrow. Needless to say, it's not going to get here by the 5-7 business days... I can't email them because ginfritter's email box is full.

Has anyone ordered from ArmorCast? Anyone know what's going on over there? I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but on the other hand I want my stuff and am starting to feel ripped off...

I just read one of the other posts (which was rather old) and ArmorCast being slow seems to be a given. I wish I'd have known this...but it still distresses me that I can't contact the company and it's been close to a month since they've posted anything on their website or forum.

Never had a problem with them. Ever. Never.

They were at Adepticon, right? If so they've probably been busy with that, and/or resting afterward.

I think you need to wait a bit longer than a week before concluding you're being ripped off.

Why can't you contact them? Their website has fax, email and telephone.

I did NOT conclude I've been ripped off. I merely am starting to FEEL like it.

The website says the order would arrive within 5-7 business days. Tomorrow is the 7th business day. Is it too much to ask that they ship my order when they say they will?

As for contacting them, I can't email as ginfritter's email box is full and all I get are bounce-back rejections from their email server. Nobody answers the phone. I don't have a fax machine (seriously, who does nowadays?).

'Resting' after Adepticon? Ok, they could at least send me an email (they should still be able to send) and let me know they're just too tired to fill my order.

It's just not good business, I'm tellin' ya. It doesn't make me want to order from them again. But, from what I understand I will eventually get my order.

Hi Maxim, welcome to Dakka.

Adepticon was this past weekend and I'm sure they were swamped with orders/casting/trip details. I wouldn't be shocked if the amount of emails they receive in a few days overflows an inbox either----as they are quite popular.

As an aside, and I'm not chastising but simply opining a bit------posting a complaint about a company in an online venue like Dakka, which draws thousands of page views, should be a weighty decision. Especially considering it isn't even delayed at this point.

Whine less, and learn to get a sense of perspective. Unless you paid for it to be shipped the next day, one week is definitely way too short a period to be hitting the point of panties wadding up when waiting for something.
