Thanks for posting. I too have been frustrated with the lack of coverage on results.

Im sure they just want to fiinalyze things, and they probably want to take a day or two off after the large event before a few more hours of data posting for dozens of results.

Most of the staff isn't even home yet and all of us are running on about 4 hours of sleep a night...not to mention have wives, kids and jobs to make ammends with! No need for frustration.

I have already posted some event results and all the 2011 Scenario Packets on the AdeptiCon homepage under Past Coverage --> AdeptiCon 2011. I am waiting on files and final event results from some events still.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Fully sortable event results for the Warhammer 40K Team Tournament and all the scenario packets are up on the AdeptiCon website under Past Coverage --> AdeptiCon 2011. Hopefully more results and some front page news tomorrow. Right now I need sleep...

BNB did awesome. It must be the Aldonis DNA.

@matthias thanks for putting up the coverage so fast. Get some rest, you deserve it.

Hat's off to the WC team - amazing job getting the number of battle points you guys got with those missions. You were definately on your A Game. No doubt you guys were the best team there this year.

@HOD - my Aldonis DNA served me well as always! WINNING! For second year in a row we were highest placing team not to win anything! That should be a prize unto itself!

@Next Level - thanks for being a good sport about the wanted posters - all in fun. Laughed my arse off at Shaun Kemp coming by every game and telling me that his Warboss died again. Got a kick out of hearing that Blackmoor turned Greg Sparks commander into a spawn.

The team tourney remains the high point for Adepticon in my opinion. The talents and creativity that you see in the armies and displays has to be the best at any tourney (and this ain't my only rodeo).

Hat's off to the guys that run this thing - lot of work and a job well done.

I have to say that the team tournament is by far my favorite event at Adepticon. I got the chance to play for the second time this year and had a great time.

We played 4 great teams, and had 8 great games.

I look forward to the event next year!

Hell - Blackmoor "spawned" everything that game. Logan, rune priest, the devil's love child, Bill Kim, and more.

LOL - thanks to you as well Greg - didn't know you all that well other than a few email exchanges - but you seemed the type to appreciate the humor and good fun.

The TT was a great event a gain and Dakka Detachment 2 had a great time. We placed 25th, and are climbing the ranks quickly! Our goal is to beat DD1 next year and take their place as the A-Team of Dakka! haha.

Indeed.

But you guys disappoint, as I've yet to find ONE picture of your armies.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1

Funny story there, the judge was all smiling and nodding looking over Reecius, Lorek and Hulksmash's blue Night Lords themed armies. Then they looked at my World Eaters, and he just kinda went "hmmph", and walked off. After that, everyone ran off to lunch since we got paint judged during the lunch break, so we really didn't get any pictures of our armies crammed on Lorek's tiny display board.

We had a similar experience in the 7am judging. The judges looked like they'd rather be anywhere else, didn't look (or take) a copy of our codex. Just moved on.

Overall, the biggest disappointment for me was not having all 110 teams set up at one time. the split really made it tough to get pics or see all the armies. We didn't stick around at lunch to look at armies since we were in the morning judging (and starving). I understand the logistics but it was disappointing.. I really like the pageantry of the set ups.
