I was just thinking that the Vindicare and Callidus assassins are by far the easiest to deliver to the fight. With special deployment rules they are prepped to do their dark deeds from their first turn.
The Vindicare is even more flexible that it may appear from his profile. If you don't want to infiltrate him for fear that he will get IDed when the opponent has first turn, you can outflank and fire special ammo with his pistol. Maybe it's not ideal but it beats dying before you can shoot. And all his special rules work with both guns.
The Culexus and Eversor, however, have no special means of delivering death and for this reason alone they are less appealing to me.
What are your thoughts and plans on how you will deliver your assassins with their parcels of mayhem? Can you make the Eversor and Culexus work?

On another board we came up with some neat ideas I thought I'd share.
With Grand Strategy an Eversor could outflank and threaten just about anything in the game.
The Culexus can actually footslog better than the others due to his targetability special rules. I had kind of forgotten about that when I posted this.

I think you could have some borrowed transports for them I guess.
You could take a squad of 3x Servitors and 2x Jokaero with an Inquisitor.
Then give then a transport, maybe a Razorback.
Your shooty Inquisition squads sits and shoots, while your assassins takes the ride and has a great time....
If you are going with a lot of Henchmen, you can Park the Culexus near a squad of 12 Psykers for a whole bunch of shots...
I am not really sold on this. It is just too many points and too many units trying to work together, but it does sound kinda fun.

I like the Vindicare, his special ammo types are great and he can smack wounds onto just about anything (Land Raiders included). My main problem with this guy is that he competes with Purifiers for an elites slot (unless Crowe is involved). He's just a really cool toolbox of ranged support abilities that gives you neat flexibility (removing invulnerable saves is really cool sometimes as well).
I also thought the Callidus was neat, but it seems more like a "1 and done" kind of deal with this one. It'll pop out of the unit, kill someone, drop the Neural Shredder on that unit and kill a bunch more, then probably get killed.

Yeah I wish I could come up with a good way to run the Callidus without suiciding her. I'll try to drop her on units that are more isolated in hopes that she can do enough damage to that unit that it can't retaliate well. If they're far enough from other enemies maybe she'll be safe from those guys too.

Tried the callidus today, popped up, kill some guys, got shot to death by the remaining part of the squad. Nice as it was to kill 5 black templars, it wasn't worth it
Now my DCAs... now those gals murdered some TH/ SS termies (attached inqisitor with rad grenades and hammerhand, in LRC... wound on 2s much?).

If you want to save the HQ slot for something else, you can always take a Tech marine. They can get Rad Grenades and Hammer Hand as well.

Unless you're running Coteaz too you'll need the Inquisitor to get the DCAs in the first place. That techie is a neat idea for other units though.
Sucks about the Callidus. I'm going to try her asap but I expect it will go the same for me as it did for you. She'll do well against Long Fangs, though. And if I can get my buddy's Incubi out of their Dais early on, that should be fun too.

Yeah, Callidus can take out with arrival and shooting a combat squad of Meqs, but any more than that and she just won't kill enough to avoid the retaliation. So that means she is meant to snipe out long fangs and devastator type units (small units but high cost due to weapons options). She is a waste against combat squads and min/max BT units.

Try sending her after a juicy heavy support target that sits and shoots, like Obliterators or Devastators. Your opponent either wastes a turn of shooting retaliating with the survivors, or ignores her and gets hosed. She's kinda like Marbo in that sense...

The enemy army often doesn't contain such units. Many people take dreads and preds these days, and their infantry is just combat squads riding in rhino type hulls. Usually if you didn't shoot an enemy out of a transport, it is an assault unit, and is a bit too hard for an callidus to take out.
