Well, I have 300$ in birthday cash and Im torn between buying a fully upgraded mk96 airsoft sniper, or, more 40k. Problem is, If I chose 40k, Idk what I would buy..... (see signature).
I might want to expand my IG, but Im just using them as an auxillary force in large apocalypse games. New Grey knights is an option, but for some reason Im not pumped about them. Don't even metion more marines (that means DA BA SW BT and VANILLA). Witch hunters are Terrible looking IMHO. I just got rid of a tau, and nid army. Please give me some ideas!

Which do you spend the most time doing: airsoft or 40k? Which one will bring you the most enjoyment? If you already have a ton of airsoft stuff, are going out every weekend to use it then I would say get the mk96.

If you only play airsoft occasionally and do 40k all the time, then get an army that you enjoy. You've already stated no SM, no GK (wait on that one a bit), no Tau and no Nid. That leaves Orks, Eldar and Necrons. What is your play style?

Ultimately, though I hate to say it, you can even not spend it on 40k but another game system so you don't burn out (I hear the Inquisition at my door). Birthday money is always fun.

Seriously?

Save 250.00 for something later. Use 50. bucks and call it a day. No reason to p!@# it away on stuff that will be insolvant within the year. If not, go use it at the war store, or someplace and treat yourself to a deal. Look around, take a break, and don't feel compelled to p!@# it away on something you are just buying and really don't want.

You can get a couple of cheap gangs and play some Gorkamorka with a box or two and a buggy. If you so chose, you could get into Malfaux for 30 Bucks, or use that 50 bucks to get into Space Mogul. You can get into AE WW2, Superfigs, Pulp City, a downpayment on Decent, get yourself over to E bay and pick up some cheap Space Hulk, you can get a couple of box sets of .45 cal adventure guys, dig around on the internet and pick up some Call of Cthuhlu guys over at RAFM, get a boxed set of Battletech, with the full set of guys, get a couple of.....

Basicly, you have cash, don't let it burn a hole in your pocket. An even better plan is to hold out and wait for something that you really want, becayse you will find it. ( Most likely when the cash is gone and your broke as !@#$.)

Happy B day, have fun with it, whatever you do.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

Considered orks? The money can even last you ages if you include lots of looted stuff as you spend longer then normal on each model as there are more conversions and modelling. Plus orkz iz da best (even though I've only just started them).

I play:
Imperial Fists - 9000 pts
Tyranids - 1500 pts

GENERATION 9: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.
