Yeah they definitely are. It depends on what you are looking for, I have been running a JP/Dread Heavy Army for quite some time now and have found them most effective.

DoA lists seem pretty good as they are, more and more people are starting to run them.


General idea though, elites are perfect for priests, so you should have a priest in every unit that needs one.

Drop lists thus far seem rare but a basic rhino rush list would still work fine.



However, DoA seems to be a solid build that is one of the more common for now.

Vanguard vets are pretty good with heroic intervention, but you cant take a priest or they lose it.
So, if you skip the priest they die quicker, but give you the chance to drop in and assault any units hanging back (lootas, fangs, devs etc)
Take the priest and you have an expensive unit but it will last longer.
