Infiltrating Hawwa'

Through the looking glass

I recently picked up an Ogre Kingdoms butcher today, and while going through the process of cleaning off mold lines and the like, I discovered two small cracks on the figure, to be precise they were, oddly enough, between the legs (and no I'm not talking about the butt crack). Also, while I was looking it over, I noticed the metal is shiny in some areas, but quite dull in others. Is this reason enough to call GW for a replacement?

Seems like the metal had dirt in it.
Filters dont usually miss much, but even a small ammount is enough to ruin a cast.

If its a quick GS job i wouldnt worry, but if its not or you dont use GS, get it replaced.

If they aren't too bad, you can fill them with some of the thicker super glue with a shot of accelerator.

I'd call.

GW apparently has very good customer service for these types of things and may send you an entire new one.

Indeed I second Da Call. You'd loose nothing by it.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Give GW a call, our hobby is expensive so why keep something you are not 100% happy with. I have found their customer service to be very good so you should have no problems.

I wouldn't worry about the mucky metal, but the crack is an issue worth calling about. I wouldn't waste my expensive green stuff on filling it in, though.
