Clone field discounts D3 hits. Roll at the begining of close combat, may be used as the bearer wishes. Unused hits at the end of assault are wasted. So for example you can let a chainsword through to save a clone for a powerfist later.
Now on heroic sacrifise. Its an attack, if it hits clone field should be able to discount it provided it has any clones left. The clone field is not a save, armor or invulnerable. Heroic sacrifise is a psykic power, but it hits in close combat like an attack.
so the question is. Can a clone field stop a Heroic Sacrifice?

Yes, because the model using Heroic Sacrifice still has to hit, and clone field negates hits of the bearer's choosing, so it could negate heroic sacrifce's hit.
Just make sure you still have some clone field hits left to use!!!

alright that was how I was reading it. I just wanted some input, as its some sort of uber special psykic attack.
Guess the GK player can just target the unit leader with it instead.
