Hey Dakka -

Here's some pics of a Throgg Troll King I converted. Started with a plastic River Troll and added a toy angler-fish cloak to make him more fierce.
He's standing on the scenery piece from the Skaarsnik and Gobbla set. My greenstuff skills aren't great, but he was fun to make!

He looks pretty Fish-ious.

Oh I crack myself up sometimes.

In all seriousness, Lovely conversion, looks like something you would find right at the bottom of the old world sea. Pretty creepy.

Ones things for certain though. I wouldn't want to engage with any 'Fish-ticuffs' with him.

I can hardly stop myself.

Very cool idea.

The joint where the GS meets the fish head could use a little more smoothing over... I would recommend continuing the green stuff up to the jawline, which will help disguise it better.

Other than that, love it

Where is the angler part that comes out of the head. That's what makes it an angler fish!

Thanks for the compliments all!

@insaniak- thanks for the advice, I'll give it a shot.

@crimsonmic - yeah, I shaved it off, can't remember why. Think it looked a little comical on the original toy. I just wanted something with the crazy big jaws

Looks an aweful lot like King Mrglmrgl. The murlocs are strong with this one.

Excellent conversion, looks great. What is that inside of the angler mouth? It looks like the original head, but I can't tell from the pic.

Finland... the country next to Sweden? No! That's Norway! Finland is to the east! No! That's Russia!

It's a bit fishy though... where'd you get the fish thingy from?

Sweet Jesus, Nurgle and Slaanesh in the same box!?
No, just Nurgle and Slaanesh, Jesus will be sold seperately in a blister.

Yes, that's his head - he's wearing the fish like a wolfskin cloak

Automatically Appended Next Post:
As to the Merloc - I actually bought the figure set to use them as giants in this counts-as Ogre army (all trolls)

Oh I see it now. My only minor suggestion would be to add some GS scales from the fish skin with the fin (under the troll arm) to connect it to the rest of the fish body on the trolls head and back. Unless the fin is supposed to be part of the troll, in which case nevermind.
