As asked by Dash in his DE tactic thread (http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/180/357250.page) I post this question:

Does the Crucible of Malediction affect Grey Knight vehicles? My take on it is no, as the psychic pilot rule states that a vehicle with the rule only is a psyker when casting a power and when it's rolling off for a psychic hood. Dash seemed to imply that he felt otherwise although I, as I am not Dashofpepper, can't confirm this.

I say we should just wait for FAQ. Its a good question, just its pointless at this point to really argue until GW puts out a FAQ.

Actually, I think this one's pretty clear (and the OP is right). The rule says, "treat the vehicle as a psyker...for the purposes of Psychic tests and psychic hoods."

RAW, the vehicle is never a psyker. Sometimes you treat it as a psyker, but the use of a CoM is not one of those times. Therefore, the CoM doesn't effect it.

I really don't see how you could read it another way...but I'll bet I'm about to find out...

My take on it:

Does the unit entry have the word Psyker under it's rules? These days they're pretty good at including that.

If yes: its a psyker
If no: its not, even of it gets to act like one sometimes

No CoM has no effect on GK Vehicles, this is because of the way the Psychic pilot rule is worded.

"A vehicle with this special rule is treated as being a psyker (Mastery level 1) and Leadership 10 for the purposes of Psychic tests and psychic hoods."

Only 'for the purposes of Psychic tests and psychic hoods' 'is treated as being a psyker (Mastery level 1) and Leadership 10'

Would that be the same search feature that locks up every time I try to use it?
