Hi Dakka. I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to building lists for Warmachines or Hordes, so try to take it easy on me. I picked most of the lists based on the models I liked.

Sorry about posting some many in one thread. Just a few comments, before everyone can start telling me how clueless I am.
I think I like Hordes better, just a preference, but you may notice a certain look I like from the units I picked from any of the factions.
Thagrosh the Messiah is probably my favorite model
Strangely, since I don't have a unit of them, my favorite looking unit models are the druids.
Favorite heavy/jack are the warpwolves.
Also I think I like the lists in the opposite order that I posted them.

go with what looks cool to you, but your gonna want more beasts in your hordes lists since they are your source of fury.

What Dave said. Hordes lists generally need at least their Lock's Fury stat worth of beast fury a turn, which generally means a minimum of one heavy and one light. More is better, as it gives you access to more Animi, more Transfer targets, and redundancy in case a Warbeast goes down.

I might be better off with prime instead of epic, but I prefer the epic model.

While I don't mind the shredder models, I don't want to just fill in the rest of the points with 3 shredders. Would you suggest anything else? What about the stinger or harrier or a raek?

I have no idea why the stormsmith, other than I had a point left over.

As for the more beasts, what would you guys suggest? Both Kromac and eThagrosh are pretty low with their warbeast points. I could take a pureblood and feral warpwolf with Kromac, but that would be my 15 points. eThagrosh, I could take typhon, shredder, stinger, and another shredder (? maybe). Any other advice.

How do you fit typhon and carnivean into a 15 point list with eThag?

If eThag can fit Typhon and a Carnivean in a 15 point list. pThag would be ten kind of useless. The list is over by 5 points, in other words. It is a 20 point list , unless there is some super secret tier for thagrosh or ways to fit this list,without your opponent looking at you and asking for your cards.....

You need quite some bit of warbeast to be effective with eThag, hence the existence of the Shredder Swarm list.
you might be better of taking a Defender for a pCaine list, but a cyclone is okay too. pCaine is not the assasination piece unlike eCaine
so you need a Warcaster killing model. Ranger depends on your meta, if they like forrest or other concealing terrain pieces ALOT, otherwise you can pick 2xlonggunner OR 2x Gunmages, so you can pick the UA for free

You usually need more than one Storm caller for them to shine

The other factions were not as important, although the Cryx would have been the other list I would have considered. BTW thanks for the help.

Yes you get another 2 point model, you can also go by using 1 shredder and taking a 4 point warbeast(which mean a Raek)

Do you really want to use Typhon? If you want to he is great, If you don't our -ean chassis over nice things

most troll player would look in horror in this list, as there is a lot of tough bypassing attacks coming their way , just an idea though

With Garryth, you probably don't want that many jacks at 15. He's pretty focus hungry and the lights really don't do too much for him. Probably drop both of them and substitute in a Manticore. After that drop the Arcanist and Soulless Escort and bump the mage hunters up to a full-size unit.
