Subject: Wilson Location: Gangers Hideout. Status: Making Noise Wilson instantly ducked back below the wrecked ground car as the Astares detonated something the Guardsman couldn't even see and almost instantly, shouts of alarm and the sound of closing hostiles grew loader. Judging their location by footsteps and shouted orders he ducked out of cover and triggered his flamer just as a nearby door burst open, the three gangers screaming as the flames consumed them. "Embrace the Phoenix, scum!" he yelled, mostly to attract more attention to this side of the building than any bravado, then sent another spear of flame up at an upper floor window as he ran towards the door, causing the shooter there to throw himself backwards as the flames flashed past his face. Someone inside the building was firing out at him now, and he hugged the wall to the doors right as shots tore gashes out of the frame, during an opening in the incoming fire, he ducked out and sent more flames up the corridor, but the unseen shooter was too far back for the weapon to reach, So wilson ducked back into cover, as long as his orders were to cause distraction, he was content to let the idiot inside waste his ammo making noise while he prevented anyone from escaping through this entrance. Glancing up at the window again, he saw the shooter again taking aim at one of the Space Marines, so he hosed him down again from this blind spot, and was rewarded with a flaming corpse landing beside him. Wilson grinned beneath his rebreather, he was starting to enjoy inquisitorial work.

Agreed. But you have to understand that a Hellgun and Hot-shot Lasgun are completley different. A Hellgun could be overcharged to be as effective as a Hot-shot though.. a Hot-shot is just a refined and dedicated heavy-infantry killer. Hell, a Lasgun can be overcharged to pump holes in power armor, but at the expense of lots of shots.

Your gun won't last long.. it's a rare thing to do.
Just have your Hellgun set to fire on a higher power setting (perhaps even the highest) - far more powerful but less shots. "Hot-Shot" is just the type of power pack used by the gun that takes that as its namesake.

Subject: Mikal
Location: Observation Post
Status: Deploying additional base defenses and surveillance assets
Mikal was a whirlwind of activity. All three of his arms (including the servo arm attached to his utility backpack) were full. All were either activating, consecrating, or attaching gadgets to others. Soon, his dozen servo skulls were active and had all been verified as fit for use. It was then that the trooper Gaz voxed Mikal with his report.
"Confirm that, Gaz, I am a signal from the dish." So far everything had gone according to plan, although, the circuitry of the building was less than reliable so Mikal had to jack the system into batteries he had brought with the equipment for such a contingency. With that done, he unloaded the four heavy stubbers he had brought, and, with the help of a servitor, had set the four guns up on tripod mounts to cover all directions. Each gun was hooked up to a servo skull which was operating on a motion scanner which recognized Imperial signals and refrained from firing at them. Each gun was set on a different floor's window for varying fields of fire and would ensure that any gaps in the defenses were filled.
"Slavro, this is Mikal, I have completed the defense layers of the observation post, the building is now as secure as it will get." Mikal reported to the Sergeant.
With that done, Mikal moved back to room 304 and fully took control of the remaining eight skulls who began to float about the room, checking all their systems. Each one activated its photographic cloaking device, rendering practically invisible to the naked eye and this was where the map Furn had found was used. Mikal had the parchment scanned, the file calibrated, and uploaded a refined version to each skull, this simplified their scanning routes immensely and made their jobs much easier. Their routes selected, Mikal sent them out to begin their patrols and soon they had made it into the area where Slavro and his chosen warriors from team Fallen were now attempting to draw the ganger's fire.
"Be advised, Sergeant, it appears that at least a dozen more hostiles are converging on your position, their armament varies widely,m standby while my probes try to locate the manservant, they are converging on the hostile's headquarters as we speak." Mikal said as his skulls moved on unseen, darting through the air, behind the ganger's lines and towards their hideout.

Character: Brother Aygapus (Team Fallen) Location: Gangers hideout. Situation: Like…well, a bull in a china shop. The Lamenters fell with every shot from Aygapus’ boltgun, the traitor’s vile blood pooling on the ground before them. Just what they deserved, thought the Minotaur. Only other Astartes were a worthy opponent for other Astartes, and that was what Aygapus’ chapter was born to do-kill others of their ilk. Wait. He hadn’t had a boltgun on Lenclos IV. He’d been a Terminator at that time, and they had been fighting alongside the… The Fire Hawks. Yes, that squad of Fire Hawks. But, they had offered to be in the first wave. Where were they? Aygapus’ one squad couldn’t hope to hold this position by themselves. “Sergeant!” The vox-Stephanos. “The Fire Hawks, sergeant, they’re;-“ Aygapus snapped back into present day as the Ganger reached his cover, brandishing an old chainsword. Memories of Badab still raging behind his eyes, Aygapus grabbed the falling arm containing the blade with contemptuous ease and used it to hoist the flailing mortal into the air. Turning him onto his back, and giving a great roar of pure hate, the Marine brought the human’s back down onto his knee, cracking it with a sickening *crunch*, before tearing the corpse apart into two bloody chunks. Bronze armour drenched in the fountaining arterial fluid, Aygapus unholstered his bolt pistol and snapped of several quick shots into the stunned gangers, causing three of them to come down with a messy case of exploding head. Aygapus did not know what the other two members of the small squad thought of this slaughter. He didn't car’-the red mist was descending and this was a good day to be a Minotaur. Leaping out from behind his barricade into the crowd of charging gangers that had formed, Aygapus set about them with his knife, driving the blade straight through the chest (and out the other side) of one whilst turning the side of another’s skull to dust with a roundhouse kick. Ducking under the clumsy swing of a club, Aygapus drove the knife into his assailant’s sternum. The man choked, coughing up blood, but before he could fall back and die Aygapus turned the blade upside down and pulled upwards, splitting his chest and head straight in half. Stopping only to kick the lumps of brain matter from his boot, Aygapus was vaguely aware of the numerous bullet wounds that were starting to form on his body. He didn’t care. As long as he brought time for Slavro to get the manservant, he thought as he felled another Jackal with a devastating head-butt, his duty and his blood debt were fulfilled, and if he was truly meant to die here then only the Emperor could change that. He just hoped the other members of the team could take advantage of the opportunity he was buying with his own blood.

Character: Brother Ronan, Team Fallen
Location: Gangers hideout
Situation: Taking out gangers
Ronan climbed atop the dumpster he was using as cover, leaping up easily in a single bound and perched himself on single knee. The sound of Aygapus's chainsaw ringed in his ears as the side of his face and torso were splattered by blood as Aygapus shredded the hapless ganger before tearing the man in half. Ronan wasn't phased even slightly, "such things are the essence of war for an Astartes", he mused to himself as he leveled his boltgun.
Normally he would yell his Chapters battle cry, but today it did not seem apt. His battle cry was for those who had betrayed his chapter and spelt doom for any heretic who heard it, it had no place here amongst the decaying under-city of some backwater world. He identified twelve gangers in all, three already writhing on the ground in flames, their screams cut short as death took them quickly, far too quickly he thought to himself. Another had met his end literally at the hands of Aygapus. And several others lay on the ground, the tell-tale signs of the handy work of an Astartes were very apparent on their broken bodies. He pitied them, they seemed to have no comprehension of the world outside or the bigger picture, the only thing mattering to them was the petty squabbling in their own miniature tiny world. Their deaths were meaningless
The four remaining gangers ran towards them, one running down the left side trying to avoid the smoldering flamed gangers and the other three running in a trio with each one slightly behind the other and to the right running down the right side. All of them seemingly unaware of the danger they were in and the futility of there efforts against such odds. He depressed the trigger of his boltgun, the muzzle flashed as a single bullet erupted and struck the nearest ganger in his lower torso. The ganger was wrenched and spun full circle on the spot by the sudden impact while half his stomach exploded and showered the gangers just behind him in blood and parts of organs. The shot ganger fell awkwardly to the floor, gurgling up blood as he tried to cry out in pain, the ganger behind him just managing to step over his twitching corpse.
The gangers were momentarily stunned from the shock of seeing their comrade dismembered by a single bullet and having his blood shower them. “A fatal mistake” Ronan thought to himself as he moved his bolter to aim at one of the stunned gangers. Several shots rang past him from the ganger to his left, one managed to graze the back of his neck and another more luckier shot striking his left shoulder which his armour managed to deflect. Ronan didn’t even wince as he shot his bolter again, a bright flash followed and the bullet struck home into the lower neck of the stunned ganger. A foot square worth of flesh exploded out the back of the ganger as his head then flopped forward to fill the gap left by the hole left. The ganger fell to his knee's, hanging there briefly for a few moment as blood squirted out the giant hole as his still beating heart kept pumping blood until his body finally slumped forward and landed with a thud front first into the dirt, his head rolled for moment over the floor but was kept close by the few remaining strands of flesh still lholding the head to the body.
The third ganger skidded to a stop, his face filled with fear as he pumped shot after shot from his Auto-pistol into Ronan's chest, a true look of dread filled the mans face as Ronan shrugged of each shot and jumped down from the dumpster. The man started to back up, fearing for his life as Ronan leapt foward and smacked the the ganger across the face with the butt of his boltgun ripping his jaw clean off from his head. The ganger was staring to his right, unable to function as the sudden impact to his head stunned him completely, the pain only just being apparent to him as Ronan then brought his boltgun straight into his stomach, causing the ganger to jump 3 foot into the air from the blow as Ronan then pulled the trigger. The bullet ripped into the gangers stomach and erupted out on the otherside as the lifeless body fell to the ground broken.
Hearing more shots ring past him he turned to face the last ganger, a shot hit him in the chest causing him to flinch backward slighty from the impact though his armour deflected most of the damage. But instead of taking the shot at the last ganger he smiled evilly and a lifted his boltgun up and resting it up and over his shoulder, held with one hand. The ganger slowed, confused by the Astartes action and knew something wasn't right. As he came to a stop his face turned grim as he slowly looked to his right, seeing the nozzle of Wilson’s Flamer being raised over the cover he had been crouched behind. A loud roar erupted as Promethium spewed out from the nozzle and turned the ganger into a human touch. Over the screams of the ganger as he flapped his arms around, Aygapus and Ronan could hear the sounds of more gangers approaching and gave each other a knowing look, there was still more work to be done.
"More Incomming!" he yelled, running forward and taking cover behind some rubble.

Subject : Wilson Location: Ganger Hideout Status: Clearing area. Wilson ducked back into cover after hosing down the Ganger attacking Ronan, his grin still on his face, Indeed duty was its own reward, the incoming fire was intense and poorly aimed, but most of it was directed at the Astartes and after watching the two of them tear men apart with their bare hands he wasn't surprised. Fortunately the Marines were shrugging it off like the gods of war they were. Keeping his head low to avoid attaching more attention, the Combat engineer moved to another flanking position, this was something he would remember for the rest of his life, he was fighting alongside Space Marines! The Emperors' will made flesh! He felt the charm beneath his chest armor for reassurance, muttering a prayer of thanks to the Throne for this chance to witness his power. Suddenly he was tacked from this side by a ganger he hadn't seen while he moved, and the two of them fell into a sprawling heap, but the first thing Wilson did before pulling his knife was deactivate his flamer, the last thing he wanted was to be spraying burning fuel over over while he struggled with this feth-head. The Ganger was small and wirily, and his leering face was marked with some-kind of tattoo, and gripped Wilson's knife wrist in a grip far stronger than such a small man should have been able to, and slowly, ever so slowly, the knife was being moved towards Wilson's throat. "No!" he yelled, and brought his helmet forward in a vicious head-butt that shattered the Ganger's nose and loosened his grip, in that instant, Wilson drove the five inch blade into his opponents eyes socket, then kicked him off and leapt back to his feet. "I am an Imperial Guardsman!" he bellowed as he removed his blade, "In the Emperor's name! I die standing!" He turned and was scanning the darkness for his allies when a sniper round took him in the chest.

"In the Emperor's name! I die standing!" Wilson bellowed as a shot from above struck him in the chest.
Ronan had spotted the sniper too late. He cussed himself for having not noticed sooner and that the first sign had been Wilson taking a shot to the chest, as an Astartes he should have been prepared for such a cowardly attack and all he could do was watch as Wilson fell backwards to the floor clutching his chest.
"Aygapus! Covering fire! Sniper!" Ronan yelled and sped from his position behind the cover to where Wilson was laying. Aygapus seemed to be in a world of his own as he raised his bolt pistol and started shooting at the window, as Ronan ran he also fired his boltgun. The masonary came off in large chunks as brick and glass were shattered from the combined bolt fire but the sniper had managed to duck away from the open window.
As Ronan reached Wilson he saw he was not dead but the wound was indeed deep, he would require medical treatment if he was to survive which thankfully he knew the Hospitalizer would be here soon along with Avare and the others. "To your feet guardsman! If you do indeed die standing then you are not yet dead!" He said, as he helped pull Wilson to his feet, he knew there was fight left in him and still time to get his wound treated after the manservant had been secured.

( OOC: Oh my dear Interragator, you have no idea yet.)
Character: Brother Aygapus (Team Fallen)
Location: Gangers hideout.
Situation: Flashing back.
He was on Lenclos IV again.
Aygapus ducked underneath Sniper fire from a Secessionist, a manoeuvre made difficult by the bulk of his Terminator armour. Jerking his head to the side quickly, the Minotaur narrowly avoided experiencing the sensation of a Meltagun blast hitting him straight in the face. However, the impact of the blast knocked Aygapus from his feet, sending him sprawling into the dirt.
Moving to rise, Aygapus returned to hugging the ground as another sniper bullet whizzed over his head. After checking sure it was safe, he got back up and bounded forwards, allowing small arms fire to bounce harmlessly off his war plating. Retracting his Lightning claws, Aygapus bent down to retrieve a bolter from a fall-
“Aygapus! Covering fire! Sniper!”
The enemy marine ducked into cover as Aygapus sprayed his location with boltgun fire. Leaning out again, the traitor Astartes fired, this time impacting into one of the Fire Hawks that had been advancing alongside the Minotaur Terminator squad. The Marine’s chest burst open in a spray of gore, and he crumpled to the ground a broken heap. Aygapus let off a few warning shots towards the sniper, before moving to aid his comra-“
Aygapus leapt behind a barrel, snapping off a few more shots towards the ganger with his bolt pistol.
”No!” The voice of the Fire Hawk sergeant cut across the internal vox, taking Aygapus momentarily off guard. “Leave him, concentrate on the silo! The silo!” Furrowing his brow beneath his helmet, Aygapus paused for a moment before turning back to re-join the rest of his brothers. Something about the Fire Hawks wasn’t right. They had not removed their helmets in the time they two squads had been fighting alongside each other, and to say they were supposed to be stragglers they seemed to have a pretty good knowledge of what was going on in the wider war. Aygapus pushed these thoughts aside. Now was not the time to be beset by doubt, for it was a sin against the divine Emperor.
Kirinos fell; his armour rent open by a lucky missile shot. Aygapus swore loudly, and colourfully, before taking careful aim at the sniper with his scavenged boltgun. Terminator armour did not make this the easiest weapon to use, but if anyone could pull it off an Adeptus Astartes could. Depressing the trigger, Aygapus raked the Lamenter’s position with shells, finally catching the trai-“
The sniper’s head was hit squarely by the pistols bullet, causing it to explode messily in a shower of bloody matter. The body, and now jutting spinal cord, jerked around morbidly for a few seconds, the dead muscles firing the sniper rifle as rapidly as they could (but ineffectually into the air), before the corpse fell from its heightened vantage point and impacted the ground with a thud.
With that, the mist began to leave Aygapus, though still fire poured out towards his, Ronan’s, and Wilson’s position….wait. Where was Wilson? Turning his head, though still losing off rounds from his pistol, Aygapus regarded the form of Ronan supporting the injured guardsmen. He seemed to have taken a sniper bullet straight to the chest, and once more the memories returned to cloud Aygapus’ thoughts.
“Ronan, get the Fire Hawk to safety. I will deal with the rest of these traitors.”
Not waiting to hear his brother’s reaction, Aygapus raised his knife and, with a cry of “For Lord Moloc, for the High Lords, and for the Emperor!” he vaulted over his makeshift cover towards the mass of juvie gangers, defiance etched on his lips.
Where the throne was Slavro?

Essentially, they've got about thirty-five cannon fodder and an additional ten to fifteen gangers."
"Great," Avare replied sarcastically.
*ahem* If you meant they got an "additional' 50 gangers on top of what they already had then it was not apparent to me when i read the text as it read to me as being a total of 50.
Flully fledged gangers eh? That will make for some interesting fight scene's me thinks
Yeah, I read that as 50 total as well. Though I think Darkvoid might have meant that this is what they recruited since they expanded (after all, the Crimson Jackals are supposed to be much larger than the Yellow Dogs were). I think we can safely say that they number anywhere between 70-100 all up, but we don't know the exact location of much of their force, which is very likely to be ,milling around in confusion after experiencing two Walking Angels of Death (+ a Die-hard Guardsman) coming up and kicking their teeth in.
@dragonjaj: You're with Sergeant Slavro (Toastedandy) as they try to infiltrate/crack-open the Crimson Jackals stronghold. And generally, so far, the messages to other players have been within the dialouge of characters posts. Careful reading should clear that up.

(( I don't see what's so hard to understand about Sergeant Slavro saying "I'll lead the team that's taking the manservant. Gaz and Furn, you're coming with me." or words to that effect.))

Sorry for the lack of posting.. last few weeks of term.. very tiring for some reason. Also, sorry for any confusion I may have caused. I was indeed saying that the gang has expanded to ~100 members. Of course, about 15 have just died.. *cough*cultmemberscomingsoon*cough* Furthermore, I've noted that EF has added my character sheet to the OP. I suggest you all give it a quick read.

(( ooc, I'm just happy I have more gangers I can kill - Having a read of the front page stats now. I have plenty of things I can RP but am going to wait until the second team of Team Fallen get a few posts in, I personally want to try and keep the timeframe the same to avoid posts refering to present then past events intermitantly. Of course I fully appriciate peoples RL commitments are taking up poeple's time currently))
