Deserves a mention, too. Not bad, but the guy on his disco table in the back is just silly. With the guns, it makes sense. WIth the statue on it, making it a Darkshroud, it doesn't.

Lets face it guys, we all secretly love the silly models. 40k has always been about taking sci-fi/fantasy tropes and dialing them up to 11. It'd be boring if everything was realistic.

Has anyone mentioned the Church-a-pult?

They kind of made sense in Return of the King where they were defending a fixed position and using abandoned chunks of the city as weapons.

But for a field battle? Do the Bretonnians really have that many abandoned shrines they can use them as ammo? What about overseas?

So yeah, Church-a-pult.

<neckbeard> Hey, that's not a catapult! It's a trebuchet. There's a difference. </neckbeard>

Church-uchet doesn't have the same sort of ring to it that church-a-pult does .

I'm not a fan, but I think the sculpt is [a bit] underrated.

Kind of suprised this thread got to 10+ pages without this being mentioned:

It's a really cool model, but the "behold the power of the mary sue!" pose is a little bit silly.
