In 11th they'll have a legends listing
In 12th that listing won't be updated - a few models will randomly vanish from it
In 13th there will be 3 waves of removals with the last being final as there's nothing left.

16th edition the army returns!

Most Unbelievable Rumor: all players, new & old, will be satisfied with the new ruleset

No one will be satisfied with it! Some people think <change> was too much, some people thought <change> was not enough!

11th Edition debuts the Legends Tournament format.

Strangely, there is a minimum age requirement of 40 to play in it.

"Vulkan: I do not understand the question."

Good thing I'm painting more cultists, then.

Old git edition: you can’t use models older then you are, but anything released after you were born is fair game.

Which I’ve done a version of. When my son was playing, but borrowing from my collection to make lists, one game I gave him free pics from the new stuff, but only used models older then him myself. Was a fun way to divy up the collection.

Chaos Marines minis range to be replaced with a selection of $50 US "conversion kits", each of which turns 5 Primaris models into their Chaos equivalents. To support this all Chaos models to be armed with completely new weapons, to discourage using older minis.

Plastic superheavy model called "Primaris Thunderhawk" to be released that looks absolutely nothing like the classic Thunderhawk.

Legions Imperialis models to be discontinued. GW to replace it with a rulebook insisting that you should totally glue a whole load of 40k-scale models to 80mm multibases and keep playing.

Blast keyword to be replaced with "hits every model within 2" of a target model." In order to speed up play GW releases a bunch of clear plastic circular measurement aids, which have to be slightly different sizes to account for the base size of the model you originally hit.

Marketing decides that making Sigmar the stripped-down easy-to-play game when it's also the less popular game is silly, Sigmar and 40k to totally swap rules.

Bases to be banned for the sake of "immersion". If your model falls over for any reason at any time it is destroyed.

All tournaments to double in length to accommodate an hour-long terrain placement phase before the game starts.

GW to partner with a robotics company, all future tracked vehicle kits to cost $250 and be remote control. To ensure people buy them the game rules define movement in terms of pressing specific buttons on the official remote, none of which move the model an easily-measured amount. This is quickly scrapped after it's discovered that the rules don't technically prohibit tampering with the gearing.

Codexes to be released only on single-use tablet computers.

Squats to be brought back as a separate model range from Votann.

AI uprising leaves the Tau model range consisting of only drones.
