Hey Dakka, I was wondering what others thought about the Grey Knight Inquisitorial Psyker and the Culexus Assassin's Animus Speculum. Tried a quick search and recent GK pages, so I couldn't find an immediate answer.

pg. 51 explains that the GK Inq. Psyker(s) count as one Psyker for purposes of Psychic tests, ect. and the Animus Speculum on the 53rd page adds 1 to the Assault value of the weapon for each Psyker within 12" of the Culexus Assasin.

My question is is how many Psykers does each Inq. Psyker count towards the added assault value of the Animus Speculum for being within the stated range? Since they count as one Psyker for specific purposes, is it +1, or none since each one is not specifically treated as a Psyker by themselves, or perhaps in the extreme and unlikely case, +1 to Assault characteristic for each Inq. Psyker?

I think they will rule it like the CoM for de. Each squad has 1 psyker.

Does each of the henchmen have the Psyker special rule?

That's the question. They have the name, but not the special rule; they do get treated as one Pysker for firing their Psychic Barrage and are subject to rules regarding Psykers while using their ability, but do not have the Psyker special rule.

Word, I don't have my book on me atm but I would say they count as one unless each guy has the psyker rule.

each squad is one psyker. The inquisitional pyskers are effected differently by CoM as they do not have BoP rule, there says they all suffer the result of perils so its very likely they make one Ld test and if they fail they are all removed by CoM. But for the assasin he gets more shots per psyker, and counting pskyers was never the problem with CoM anyway.

Do vehicles count with their psykic pilots. Wait for the FAQ for the final word.
