Been trying to figure out what I could sub in for kroot hounds that would be more affordable than the prices there asking for 2 metal dogs. Any advice, hoping for GW models so they dont cry If i happen to take em into their store or a sponsored tourney.

Flesh Hounds of Khorne? Hounds of Orion bits from the Wood Elves (They are exactly $1 cheaper than the Kroot Hounds here )? Warstore the Kroot Hounds?

There's not really all that much.

Kroot heads on hormagaunt bodies actually look rather convincing. Or you could just try mixing and matching the Kroot and Gaunt plastics to get the desired effect.

I like the Chaos hound version a lot. The others are nice but perhaps a bit small to count as a Kroot hound.
