Depends on the Hulk really. A dead Hulk, probably lots of close-combat and just normal weapons like Lasguns that are unlikely to cause damage to the infrastructure.
InquisitorVaron wrote:So a Dread with HF? Any Dread weapons?
Usually you wouldn't have Dreadnought or any vehicles in Space Hulk boarding operations; it's mostly conducted by Terminators with Heavy Flamers and the like.
That... was the most epic stop animation movie I have EVER seen!

Dreadnaught with TL Heavy flamer and under slung Heavy flamer. 115P
Dedicated transport: Drop Pod 35P

That's the list, making the Drop Pod seem more like a boarding torpedo. If your wondering why Snipers it's so they have Night vision through their scopes.

If you're going for something fluffy, I don't think scouts should be in the list. Normal Marines are also known to take part in boarding actions; it might be better to bring two assault squads without Jump Packs instead. Also, it's probably a better idea to give the Captain a pair of Lightning Claws instead of the Chainfist - his Terminators give enough S8 attacks, and there's no point wasting his Initiative 5.
i agree with Darkvoidof40k. Why do you have a drop pod use a Stormraven.

I would say anything higher than an S6 would be a good rule of thumb when deciding what the strongest weapon you could bring with you onto the hulk. That's strong enough to take out anything that might be able to crawl its way into a hulk. (Powerfists and similar melee weapons excluded simply because they may be strong, but unless the marine just decides to wail on support beams for fun, won't be doing any damage to the ship.)

Why not? Scouts often lead these operations. Advanced space crusade was almost entirely scout based and not that different form space hulk. The space hulk rules for regular marines included marines with missile launchers and melta missiles. I don't think you really need to concern yourself with hull breach rules that much if you are space marines. Power armor is fine in a vacuum.

I vaguely recall a White Dwarf article from ages and ages ago for one of GW's "explore the enemy ship killing bad guys" games (unfortunately, I can't remember if it was Space Hulk, Advanced Space Crusade, or Tyranid Attack). The article in question contained rules for using the eldar in the game, as well as a points-based system for building an eldar combat group. At the extreme end of the list points-wise, the eldar had the option to include a wraithlord with their force.
InquisitorVaron wrote:Hmmm, so In other words anything that might make a small breach is fine for marines. The only problem is the scouts.
(This won't be played on a space hulk, just want to give it that feel. Unless I can get my hands on one, or if I make a seperate board Hulk)
Even scouts are fine. The old rules were that they counted as having sealed suits. I don't think they ever made a mini with a helmet, but I do have a very old one with a respirator, but I'm sure they have them.
If you are doing it for fluff sake, you might want to have some areas where is illegal to shoot as it would cause real problems. Like in aliens they didn't want to hit the reactor coolant lines. Remember marines are basically meant for boarding actions. It wouldn't make sense for them to be bad at it. The only race I could see having issues fluff wise would be IG, and you can assume that any IG that participate in a boarding action would be kitted with sealed suits.
Orks, nids, crons, eldar, most everything else is fine in a vacuum either because of physical resistance and or equipment. I would assume most boarding missions take place in a vacuum as a boarding torpedo or such is going to allow the atmosphere to vent already anyway.

Ok then, so It's perfectly legit list that seems like a Space Hulk unit? Perfect. I might sculpt some rebreathers? Or try and find someone who's done that.

IG command sprue has separate respirators, or lots of helmetless marine heads have respirators. The dread might be a problem in corridors, but that depends on how you model them. They wont fit on a space hulk corridor tile from the game.
From playing 40k on a multiple space hulk boards I will tell you this, you will not find a better unit then thunder hammer storm shield terminators. It's all about assault. You cannot trace to much LOS in those corridors.
