Wargear: Power Klaw, Twin-Linked Shoota, Stikkbombz

Ard ‘Arrmour:
Ard’ Armour provides Zandreg with a 3+ Armour Save

Special Rules: Waaagh!, Furious Charge, Independent Character, Mob Rule

Im Da Boss:
Any unit within 6” of Zandreg may use his Leadership.

Da Biggest, Baddest Ork Around:
Zandreg has the Eternal Warrior special rule and he may re-roll failed rolls to hit and wound in close combat.

Brain’Eata:
If Zandreg kills an enemy HQ or MC then he eats their brains. For the rest of the game enemy models must pass an unmodified Leadership test in order to shoot or charge Zandreg or the unit that he is in. This rule has no effect against Fearless units.

I Neva Die
If Zandreg dies, take a leadership test, if the test is passed he is revived with 1 wound. For every time you do this take a -1 modifier to his leadership.

I'd say bump up the price to 200.

Other than that, they're some pretty cool rules.

What is the thinking behind this character? Why does he eat brains, and why does doing so give him such a huge bonus?

He eats brains because it scares the the enemy and he is the warboss of the Brain'Eatas who have developed a liking for the taste and texture of the brains of other races

I like this, but brain eating sounds zombish...

Maybe you could make him a head hunter, or mangler where he claims heads/scalps or decapitates the enemy.

Also, calling his armor 'Ard Armor but giving a better save then all other "Ard Armor might be confusing, as a special character you should give his armor special meaning ala Kapt. Badrukk's Goldtoof Armor (which also saves on a 3+) or just keep it a 4+ like normal 'Ard Armor.

You could also consider playing in the Biggest baddest ork rule by giving this character something to distinguish himself, usually in 40k (and GW in general it seems) this takes the form of a special weapon. (Ala Kapt. Badrukk, Ghazhkull, Mad Dok Grotsnik, Wazdakka... etc.) It would be a great way to tie in all the other special rules and give more to the imagination of what the character might look like.
