Sooooo, anyone?

Finished it this afternoon. It was okay, though most of the fun again came from the characters. It had a fun ending as well.

My wife and I have it pre-ordered/loaded and will be playing it over the weekend, I think. Lousy jobs taking all my video-gaming time during the week.

Played it and finished it today in a bout 6 hours, that may seem short but I know I'll replay it a few times plus there are apparently two different endings (not sure about that though).

Then there's co-op....

Overall I'd say it was an absolutely fantastic game and like the first game it felt as though it ended at the right time whilst still leaving you wanting more.

It made me feel warm and fuzzy inside instead of the usual cold bitterness I feel.

It's a little short certainly but there's something to be said for quality over quantity.

Mattieu~~~~ It's not that eldar are bad, it's that they require a lot of intergration between units. Also, that doesnt prove anything other than GW has a huge hard-on for marines, and, given the option between making a xeno the best psykers or making a marine the best psyker, they will 9 times out of 10 choose the marine.

Just got it. Its a lot of fun, and the plot is great. Just... lets keep the spoilers out. I was scanning each post for something that might even resemble a spoiler. To keep it safe, of course.

Completed co-op first (with a good mate) & if you don't have good communication between each other, your screwed/have more difficulties (ingame mic is fine tho). Absolutely loved it, so much fun... possibly the best co-op i have played.

yet to try SP, i'll take it slow

(OT: anyone suggest another good co-op game for pc?)

Does the co-op has any decent story?

Completed it yesterday. Very good.

I'm still puzzled by the whole Cryo-sleep aspect though. I understood when it was that small egg shaped bed, but a Hotel Room facade?

Spoiler:
I dislike the timeline jumping so ridiculously far. I always assumed when it was linked with Half Life, that GLaDOS would be the template for Overwatch. Hence the same voice.

Otherwise a great game, some head-scratchers of puzzles. Using the goo took a while to get used to. It was less 'Thinking with Portals' and more 'Remember the Goo'

Steven Merchant was great!

it does have a plot and mysterious hidden parts so to speak which adds to the whole concept of portal - but it isn't "game changing" to SP.
