Good news 1, the wife got a hella good deal on some nids thanks to WarOne.
Good news 2, I just had a 2000+ point Necron army dropped off on my door step today. And paid exactly 0 dollars and 0 cents for it. The former owner didnt want it anymore and just gave it to me. Some of the units are in pretty rough shape and Ill need to break apart and repose a hand full of warriors because they look like they where put together and then left alone to dry unsupported. So those guys have some rather......odd stances

So super friggin happy today! I think Im going to paint the crons in a white/red scheme. I may even try my hand at using some ideas I have for cheap color tubes. Also, I just banged together a C'Tan out of some bits/wraith/imagination, and so far its looking decent/good. Hurray for me, and just wanted to share

Yea she originally wanted to play DE, but this was before any news of a re-release so she decided no because she didnt want an army that could of been phased out. So she picked nids. And has a surprising knack for it so far. She has kicked my ass a few times already.... Ive learned to not water my lists down against her thats for sure

Not a bad deal would love to take over 2000pt of Necrons myself without paying one cent. And the new Necron Codex will soon be launched so you have something to look forward for.

And Crons and Nids are a pretty fun match-up fluff wise as they gain nothing from fighting one another. No Souls no Bio-mass
