Well, that was the period of my childhood and my grandma cooked this soup often... You already knows the reason why
The spaghetti were made from the flour of a very low quality, so eating it was close to impossible. But with milk it wasn't that bad. Actually, it was rather tasty.
Oh, I remember those times - my grandpa had to stand in queues for hours in order to get some food. I remember once he accidently broke a package of ten eggs just in front of our flat's door... My father found him sitting on the stairs crying. And grandma grabbed the scoop to collect the broken eggs from the flor of the staircase... Yes, we ate those eggs afterwards.

But to me, soup is just soup, I usually have with somehting like a salad, or a snmmich, if I am thinking of a HEARTY soup, I'm thinking Stew, or Goulash....but that's just me.

My wife won't even think about eating pudding just for that reason! I don't care what it looks like! If I didn't, I'd never eat tapioca pudding or creamed corn! Or most candy bars for that matter!
