MKII through VI are all excellent, but if I HAD to choose a Pre-Heresy/Heresy Era armor I'd go with MKIII.
Post-Heresy, it is MKVIII all the way - I'm STILL waiting for an 'official' 100% accurate set from GW of FW - please!
Also, these type of threads go in the 'general' discussion areas, not in the 'background' areas.

Is it possible to change the thread to a poll?
I would be quite interested in the result actually. For me mk6 for nostalgic reasons (because of the original SM release), although I quite like the idea of hordes of marines in mk4 during the great crusade.
