1. If a weapon destroyed result is rolled against a manticore with the Eagle missles is one missled destroyed or the entire missle system?

2. Does the manticore automatically hit side armor or is the blast coming from the center of the whole for purposes of establish which part of the vehicle is hit?

3. When moving closest to closest does the assaulting model have to move straight to the closest opposing model taking the shortest possible route or can it run around something as long as it can still meet closes to closes?
Example: Daemon prince is 4" away from a unit. Some area terrain comes out slightly some that if the daemon prince went in a direct path it would have to take DT. Instead the opposing player moves around the tree's and still meets the model closest to closest.

1.) Weapon destroyed destroys the whole assembly. Remember to keep your manticore completely out of site. Camo netting wouldn't go amiss either.

2.) Always the side armor, if it's fired as a barrage weapon. If it's fired directly, then it's the facing armor. Remember even if it's a partial hit, it's still STR 5, so you've got a chance to glance AV 11. And you get two dice to do it!

3.) As long as the inches add up, I'd say sure. If you're avoiding clipping difficult terrain that probably the best way to do it.

im at work so dont have any rules in front of me but i play ig and im pretty sure the weapons/wargear for the manticor list 4 storm-eagle rockets, not storm-eagle rocket system consisting of 4 rockets, and since it lists the 4 rockets, they get destroyed individually, just because there one use only shouldnt matter at all, so they are no different than say a battlewagon with 3/4 bigshootas(not sure if thats possible lol)

I'm at work too, so I'm coming from the same position, but I'm pretty sure it says somewhere in the 'dex that a weapon destroyed result cripples the whole shebang.

It has one weapon, which can fire 4 times in any given game, called "Storm Eagle Rockets". They are thus a single weapon system, and can all be destroyed by weapon destroyed results.

You have to use the shortest possible route. Page 34 of the BRB, midway in the 2nd paragraph under "Moving Assaulting Models."

Yes, a straight line is the shortest path, unless of course you happen to *be* in the Warp. You can't take a curved path within the model's assault move to avoid terrain.

1) It destroys the whole system. You have 1 weapon that fires 4 times.
2) You always hit the side armour when firing Barrage, UNLESS the centre of the marker is not over the hull. In this case it hits the side of the vehicle where the centre of the blast is.

3) You MUST travel the shortest path. Skirting around otherwise-passable terrain is NOT taking the shortest path.
