Also, any advice you can give me would really be appreciated as I know they're not perfect but I'm still quite happy with them. The Force weapons I've just left silver for now since I'm not totally sure how to go about doing the effects for them so if you've got a good technique, please let me in on your secret

Thanks for the graphic Aquaterry, that's really informative. I actually quite like the idea of the green/black but as you say, it'd probably look better with blue for GK. I've got loads of spare weapons I can practice on so I'll use this technique and see how it goes. Might try a few different colours, too - depends on how many different shades of the same colour I have - I think I've got mainly lots of blues, greens and yellows so I'll try them all (although I find yellow difficult to paint with).
