Nottingham (yay!)

I like to take a bunch of Scouts and Infiltrators in my lists, I'm sure many others do too. In most C & C games I see, objectives tend to be very close to friendly table edges and fairly opposite each other, the two castles exchanging long range fire until mobile units make a play for objective denial.

I've been thinking lately about instead of putting my objective on or near my table edge, putting it right close to the enemy and in effect handing it to him early on, with a goal of giving my Genestealers something to charge on the turn they appear.

If his objective is on the other side of the battlefield, my Outflankers have got a guaranteed target whichever side they arrive. If his objective is 12" away, he's forced to bunch up his Troops where they can be Blasted to oblivion.

Anyone tried this 'bait' tactic before?
