I'm not a huge fan of the psyflemen dreads when they take four gatling guns out of my army.... more gatling guns the better.

Yea, but those gattling guns are stuck at 24" range, but other than that...

Don't take Coteaz if all he'll do is make that one squad of Servitors scoring; you'd be better off either removing them and providing the Purgation squad with a Razorback to put out more shots (assuming they'll be attached to the Techpriest for the purpose of being a firebase).

Alternatively, replace Coteaz for a cheaper Ordo Xeno Inquisitor with a Conversion Beamer and Servo Skulls, drop the Chimera (it's your only vehicle at the moment, it'll be targeted and blown up by turn one) and buy the third Techmarine a ranged weapon to use.

Another alternative would be to drop the Purgation squads, techmarines, Coteaz and the Servitors altogether and run 2 kitted-out Interceptor squads:

-10 models
-2 Psycannons
-Psybolt ammunition
-Master-crafted Daemonhammer on the Justicar

This allows you to Deep Strike alongside the Terminators and gives you a mobile, shooty unit that can get behind vehicles and target weak rear armor. If that's too far of a departure from what you had in mind, then don't worry about it.

Lastly, let the Grandmaster just use his sword rather than Falchions, giving him better survivability in combat over an extra attack. With the freed-up points buy him Rad Grenades so the entire unit becomes better in combat.

good point on the chimera, but coteaz's squad is there for the "i've been expecting you goodness. should I just drop the chimera?

Drop it and use the points to buy some ablative Henchmen wounds for the squad.

This list is generally horrible and not competetive at all.

One vehicle, a chimera at that, will likely not last past the first turn against truly competetive lists.

Orbital strikes are unreliable...depending on easily destroyed servo skulls is not an answer.

Coteaz is unused.

Techpriests are useless if your deployment zone has no "ruins"....cannot bolster woods.

15 terminators on foot (as I said the chimera is gone on first turn) is a poor plan for objective taking/damage dealing.

5 man purgation squads w/o transport? Bad Choice.


For a competetive list, scrap this idea entirely...start again. This army is w/o any focus at all.

why would you put purgation squads in a transport? so only half of them can fire? They're heavy, so they can't fire if the transport moves. Save for a pidly two shots max. I'm sorry but I disagree I think these guys are best left denying half the board to your enemy with 16 rending str 7 shots.

The only problem is that it is a small squad size for them; take two wounds and you lose a Psycannon. Is there any way to fit in more models?

Why would you put purgation squads in a transport? In a list with a GM? Use your imagination.



Units scout move up toward mid feild for better firepower...disembarking behind rhino wall out of line of sight. Maybe the rhino's smoke.

Begin first turn, noone can see the purgations behind the rhino wall. They havent moved this turn and cast astral ammo...shooting with range on a good portion on the board....20shots per....again, out of line of sight....the way they were meant to be used.

I have never failed to seize on 4+ in my life!

For the price of the Servitors with chimeras, you could take 3 jokereo weaponsmiths, providing some much needed lascannons, and depending on how you roll, if you get rending shots, you can always put a techmarine in the unit for d3 S6 Ap4 Rending large blast templates.

are we shure that works as someone in the INAT faq thread pointed out it isn't a weapon technically.... Though I like the idea of jokaero.

oh and on ruins there will be ruins. There will be plenty of ruins.

Why would they say it's not a weapon, it's even in the GK weapon section for the rules.

it says something to the order of it is treated as a weapon. Besides lets be honest a d3 str 6 1d6 scattering rending large blast template would be OMGWTFBBQ powerful.
