All,

In the Hope of making T4 multi wound units usable again, what if they made if a model is wounded by an attack that would cause Insta-death, the model takes an toughness test with a -1 modifier. If it fails the toughness test, it is removed.

That seems like a easy way to make things like warriors or Paladins better. What do you think?

I think you're trying to blanket-improve models that do not suffer too greatly from it. S8 or instant-death inducing weapons aren't that common in 2+ ROF varieties.

I really need to stay away from the 40K forums.

Better: If a model would be Doubled Out and has more than one wound, it may roll a d6. On a 5+, Instant Death does not apply.

But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

No, otherwise Nobs would be insanely more irritating to take down as would paladins. I Like the game the way it is.

And as someone has mentioned, there isn't that much that fires something at S8 that has a ROF of 2 or more...

Unless you face me where i take 4 blastmasters and 3 Vindicators !
