Hey, A few friends and I are doing the Adepticon 40k team tourney next year and are starting to get ready. We decided that we would all use the same basic list, so I will post the list all 4 players are going to use, although there will be minor variations for each player, there are 4 players and they are divided up in 2 teams of 2 playing with a different team member each round. Let me know what you think and what changes you would make.

Basic rules are
1 HQ
0-1 Elites (one player can take 2)
1-3 Troops
0-1 Fast Attack (one player can take 2)
0-1 Heavy support (one player can take 2)

Drop the loota's and pump up the Boyz, this is half of a 2k List after all and your taking 40 Boyz. My 500P list has 30.

In other words It depends on your team-mates lists. If they have pumped loads of boyz In this list will do fine, if not well goodbye. I quite like the Kan wall element but the whole point is to get the boyz across fine, and with only 40 the kick won't be enough.

Well all 4 players are going to use this same list so in every game there will be 80 Boyz, 14 lootas, 30 Stormboyz, 2 Dreads, and 6 Killa Kanz, and 2 Big Meks. So its kind of a modified Kan Wall

drop the loots and take 24 more boys for sure. This gives you 64 boys altogether and 128 between you. Even with a Kan wall, you'll probably want at least one big unit of 30 CC armed boyz. They have the best Kill : Points ratio in the whole game. If you insist on having the other 34 armed with shootas, that's fine.

2 Squads of 30 With CC weapons do the best in a Kan wall. Personally I would drop the Rokkit's on the Kans and get more Boyz! The Kans are sheilds not really something you want to supe up to die.

As said before drop the lootas and get more boyz. I love the idea of 30 Stormboyz. Mabye drop the Dread for some Rokkit-Kopta's. Good for picking off tanks.

Yeah, it is hard to judge your list without seeing your teammate's list.

@thatedguy They're using duplicate lists. His teammate will be using the same as him.

I'm going to actually go ahead keep the Lootas dispite what everyone else is saying. I think it actually looks pretty solid.
