It seems to me, that GW go a bit lazy and thought..."HEY LETS MAKE A army that is 100 times easier to play then space marines".....and came out with the new codex "Grey Knights"
I won't be shocked if they put the GK's in the new starter box when it comes out, and put an army like necrons in it...."Like what else is an easier army to beat lol"

No. A single method of army list creation is.
20 str 10 ap 1 large blast templates is broken. Everything else is fine. Stop running the same list.

While, in all honesty, most of the stuff doesn't really seem as ridiculous as some make it out to be, it is another excellent instance of having a ridiculous number of special toys for an army that should have been differentiated more by statline than a gazillion equipment/weapon options. It's not as bad as Space Wolves I don't think in terms of balance, but also not a great book to read or learn to play against as so much of it feels like it was written by a 12 year old.
