After a game played where a TFC was rolling 2d6 and picking the highest for armour pen, I got curious about where this is dealt with. I couldnt find anything besides the fact it is classified as an artillery piece, and 3 differnt types of shots and Heavy 4, blast. Does this give it some sort of special rule that I overlooked?

it shouldn't be getting that, thats the rule for Ordinance. Artillery isn't Ordinance by default unless i missed something.

Unless the shot has ordinance in the profile, it's not ordinance. I use thunderfire cannons, three at once even. They have no such ability. Call the hax.

To be ordinance, it would have to be passed by your local, state, or federal legislative body.

To get 2d6-use-the-highest for armor pen, it'd have to be ordnance. Which it's not.
