This conversion has taken me quite a while but he's finally done. I used some kitbashing a little bit of plasticard and a chunk of green stuff to get him finished but here he is, atop his resin base.

Parts used were:

Blood bowl ogre, legs, torso, arms
Black reach warboss, head and backpack
Nob PK
Nob kombi shoota/skorcha
Nob iron gob
Imperial guard tow chain
Runtherd attack squig
Dragon Forge resin base

I utilised a blood bowl ogre for the legs, torso and most of the arms. However, with his right arm I sawed off the hand and attached the nob PK. The left hand I attached to a nob kombi shoota skorcha after removing the nob's hands. The jaw plate is from a nob that I extended with plasticard and green stuff to fit his open mouth.

The fur around the backpack is green stuff, as is the shoulder joint on the model's right hand side.

I was really pleased with the highlighting on the leather gun holsters.

The left shoulder joint and around the area where the torso and legs meet, I had to joint fill with green stuff. Think I did an alright job hiding it.

The side of the gun was very plain as standard because it's supposed to held across the chest of a nob. Because it was going to be so prominent, I attached a chipped panel from the Trukk box to break up the grey a bit.

This was the first resin base I've worked with but I'm pleased with how it came out. Gave me a good chance to pratice my dry brushing.

Here's a shot for size comparison. He's not huge, about the same size as the black reach warboss at the moment, though he is crouched. If he was standing, he'd be at least a head taller.

Nice work! Allways thought of using the grots squig for something like this

"Is that a krak grenade or are you just pleased to see me?"

He looks great. The paint job is fantastic. My only comment is that, I can't tell how big he is. Initially I thought he looked too small for a Warboss, but it may be the pose that makes me think that. Do you think you could take a pic with another Ork there so we can see the scale? But, like I said, he looks great. .

Thanks guys. Added a better first shot and a comparison pic and the end.

I like the conversion, and the way you used lots of different kits to make it. It looks cool too, a nice bonus.

By the Emperor that Warboss looks sick! I can just imagine him gearing back and just pile driving a Commisar or Space Marine Captain like a big angry green train! Awesome job.
