Just got my Gun Carriage today, and figured I'd right up a quick review. Pics later, if I feel like it.
Before I even opened the box, I was pleasently surprised by the weight. Altogether, the thing is probably a few pounds. Upon ripping my way through the wrapper, the reason why is quickly revealed: Half the model is metal. I was somewhat surprised to see only two resin parts in the whole kit: The carriage body and its suspension. The rest (four parts for the horses, four wheels, two cannon barrels, and a Winter Guard) is all white metal. One of my first resin models, but I was somewhat surprised by the mass of the resin as well. I was sort of expecting something similar to plastic, but the resin parts probably weigh nearly as much as the metal components. So, at least it's settled the complaints about the things not having any heft!
The resin is rather interesting to me, with what appears to be a grain to the naked eye, although there's no associated texture that might hinder painting. Flash is pretty minimal, with a little bit to be snapped off on the mold vents (conveniently located on the rear bumper of the suspension). There's a void or two, but they're located in impossible-to-see places: The undersides of the steps, and a little under the driver's compartment. Mold lines are almost nonexistent, with the only complaint being a decently visible one on the suspension located under the baggage. Still, a little bit of greenstuff and it'll be gone in a snap. Assembly is likewise fairly simple: Cut a couple pieces from the suspension (a bar of resin connecting the pistons on each side, keeping them from snapping like twigs), slot it into the main body, slot the cannons to the turret housings, wheels go on pegs, horses slot onto the tongue, and the winterguard just sits in the upper hatch (or you can close it instead, the hatch cover fitting nicely in place there). You may want to pin the wheels and cannons on, but everything else holds pretty well by itself.
As for the sculpt itself, the detail is rather nice, and better than what I've seen on most of PP's metal and plastics: The bags on the rear have a realistic burlap texture, and the hand holds and rivets are nice and crisp. Actual wood texture on the boxes, too. The metal bits are of good quality as well, although the repeat on the horses is a little disappointing. You could probably switch in an Uhlan pony with a bit of dremel work tho, so it's not too horrible.
Overall, I'd give the kit an A-. There's a few small niggling errors (the mold line on the upper suspension under the baggage, for instance), but I'm definitely satisfied with the quality of their first real resin model.

This is good to hear. I wonder how much of the other kits will be metal especially the ones that look more top heavy.

I feel like Battle Engine cards should be proportional to the model they come with.

Not really. The closest comparison is the one Markov is riding, although with a bit more armor plating.

I often wonder about nabbing the Wraith Engine, however I have NO IDEA as to its stats and general use. Something I'd actually want to know before forking out

The Cryz one has metal arms, but is resin otherwise. The cygnar disco ball is resin, just the crew figs and the controls are metal in that one. Both of these have been shown on PP's website in their components. The menoth one however hasn't been shown at all except in concept art so no info on that yet.

The rules for the Gun Carriage are in the current NQ Magazin (#35 I think), and besides that they´ll be, together with all other rules for the latest Warmachine releases and all Battle Engines, in Warmachine:Wrath which gets released this June.
A few things I remember: The Carriage is 9 points, has (like all engines) Pathfinder, can´t be knocked down and has pre-deployment (that means they must be placed before every thing else gets placed). The guns are POW 14 (I think) and leave their AoE as rough terrain.

Rules for the Retribution one have been released in the privateer press insiders here and here.
Current rumours suggest that they are all around 8-10pts and FA 2

Also, it's a Cavalry model, with a POW 12 auto- KD mount attack that can be charged with and used any combat action where it didn't charge. Can shoot in melee on the same activation as melee attacks, make trample attacks, and has a rifle that can fire in the back arc. Oh, and did we mention the AOE 4 cannons that leave terrain?

One thing that the Gun Carriage apparently can't do is make free strikes, though. It only has mount attacks.
