Just a thought a friend and I wondered what would happen if they fought considering fateweavers re-roll inv and the Swarmlords making you re-roll successful saves. What would happen?

they nullify each other... so you can simply roll once...

( you reroll successful saves because of the swarmlord but you also reroll failed saves because of the fateweaver specil rule... So you REROLL ALL DICE... so simply roll once... but agree first with your oppontn since RAW-wise you should first roll saves and then reroll all of them..)

By strict RAW: you roll the dice, and no matter what you roll, you pick up the dice immediately and roll again.

In practice, just roll once (but make sure your opponent understands this!).

I remember a question about Fortune(reroll saves) and Swarmlord in the Eldar FAQ, their page is not available atm though, so can't quote.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

FWIW, you can still download FAQs of GW's website just by Googling "[race] FAQ".

Just realised that the Tyranid FAQ is the only one I don't have, so downloaded it that way. Just be careful of version numbers.

Edit: doesn't look like this is addressed in the Eldar or Tyranid FAQ, though.

I believe the reference you're looking for is when runes of warding and runes of witnessing collide.

But yes, you either roll the dice once, then immediatly roll them again or you just roll once <---- best option.

The main reason to reroll (or make it clear the first roll is really a reroll of all dice) is if ANOTHER source of reroll is available. As you cannot reroll a reroll this extra source would be useles....

If one rule tells you to re-roll all the successful dice, and another tells you to re-roll all the failed dice, those rules are not in conflict.

You just roll ALL the dice again.

Since this is a waste of time, it is common for players to agree to just roll once, playing the two rules as cancelling out.
