I'm afraid the magnetic interference of the aurora borealis prohibits shipping of any magnetic equipment to the frozen wastelands of the north.

Well I don't know of any places out in BC, but there's a great hardware store in Burlington Ontario that sells them. It's called Lee Valley. I'm also pretty sure they ship throughout the entire country, if you wanted to order from Ontario.

No problem, I actually had no idea they had multiple stores, so I guess it worked out!

Also as a side note, thier 1/8" diameter x 1/8" thick rod magnet's are perfect fir for the "hinges" on Land Raider and Rhino side hatches. I've done that to mine(no pics yet), so the hatches can open, and be removed when the vehicle has been wrecked.

K i bought and received the rare earth magnets !

Now i need to search for those rolls or sheets of magnet i can cut and glue onto the movement trays.

If im not mistaken , thats very similar to fridge magnets? If yes , what is it called and where can i buy them?

Or else i dread to think i need to glue rare earth magnets underneath the movement trays -_-

I got the 30 mill sheeting which fits great on the bottom of the "cut to size" movement trays. The problem is it is a weak magnet so you'll need a stronger magnet glued to your figures to make them hold. I currently use 3mmx1.5mm magnets for Dread arms and such but they're too weak to use for fantasy units basing, so I'm investigating other magnet sizes.

For anyone else looking for rare earth magnets in mini-friendly sizes: Think Geek (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/science/e802/) sells a good variety and will ship Northwards.

I've used them in other modelling projects with a lot of success.

Think Geek's selection seems pretty meager.

Luckily the local gaming store here carries them as well, just never had a reason to magnetize any of my guys.

Thanks for that link Breotan , the magnet sheet is the type im looking for.
But im worried about how long they last for as some sites say they only last 3-5 years depending on how often its used.
