If a BSB with a magical standard is in a unit with a magical standard. Will both of the standards stack for example: one gives them magical attacks and 1 gives them +1 to hit?

In addition if you have a bsb, and a magical standard the is a war banner which grants +1 to combat res will that be 3 combat res from banners alone?

Yes to both questions.

Nothing says multiple banner effects in a unit do not stack, so they will. As to the second question, the unit banner gives +1, the BSB gives +1, and the War Banner gives another +1. None of them are exclusive, and will legally stack.

Ouch, that can make for one hell of a deathstar with the combo I am thinking up.

don't forget the BSB gives +2 combat res for being the Battlestandard.

you can't count 2 standard twice, but it does give a total of +2(1 for being a banner, and 1 for being the Battlestandard)

Right, so in combat, you get +1 for the BSB and +1 for a standard, but no more than one unit standard per combat can be counted. For a total of +2 (not counting the war banner).

No, there are Battle Standard Bearers and Unit Standard Bearers, each of which gives +1 CR, but the BSB isn't a unit standard bearer as well. So the BSB gives a +1 for being there, not +2. The rules on pg. 107 clarify this; he adds +1 "like a normal standard." The only difference is that it is cumulative with regular unit standard bearers.

Well, No..If you are a High Elf you can take a BSB with the Battle Banner (+d6 combat Res) and stick him in a unit with the War banner for a total of d6(battle banner)+3(war banner, BSB, Unit Standard). But as a general rule 3 would be the most.

Dwarves can get pretty crazy.
Master rune of Stromni Redbed gives +1 to each combat within 12", rune of battle gives +1.
You can also have 6 other banners with the rune of battle and some combination of other runes.
If my some chance, all those units were in one fight, You'd get:
+7 for runes of battle (1 per standard), +1 for having standards, +1 for the BSB and +1 for the RedBeard master rune. That's +10 from standards and bonuses; 13 with ranks.

Vampire Counts can get +1 from the warbanner, +1 for the banner of endless nightmares (which allows a 4th rank bonus); which is 7 with ranks (8 with a bloodline power)

Empire can get double rank bonus and warbanner for a total of +9 (which included ranks)

Dark elves win: 125 point banner adds +1 to EACH UNIT, within 12". In theory, you could get ~12 units into a front of a horde, giving you +12 from that banner, +1 for standard and +1 for BSB, slightly edging out the dwarf advantage.
