Recently, I had a game of beerhammer with a friend of mine, and wound up dropping a squad of assault marines behind his land raider and my sergeant started strapping meltabombs to his tank. I had to do it twice before i was able to wreck the damn thing, and when I went to assault his Land Raider the second time, my friend stated that he thought that a sergeant is only allowed to use a single meltabomb throughout the battle, while I told him that I thought that you paid to take meltabombS, not just a single meltabomb.

Well, we solved this with a rolloff, but I wanted to know what the general rule of thumb for taking meltabombs in your squads was in case it comes up again.

When you pay for meltabombs on your sergeant, is it a single use weapon like a combi or a hunter killer? Or is it an unlimited use situation?

Unless stated as one-shot or one use only, all wargear can be used as often as you like. Melta bombs have no such rule.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.

I have a beerhammer friends tournament coming up and the third game of the day is always a blast Last time we ran out of beer, so it became a Jack-hammer tournament (groans from peanut gallery).
