Subject: Real life images that remind you of the 40k universe
Well I can't get a picture of it that s from the right angle but-
At the bottom of my street there is a large church. It seems to be only visible from my widnow, but at the back of it there are tall windows, and at the top of said windows there are three circle formations that form this: . The circles are slightly grouped together, and these three formations form a triangle..

- It doesn't comfort me to know that a few doors down from me there is an enormous temple of nurgle..

A bit of vice versa maybe but there was some cool footage of a guy on an abrams turret blazing away with his 50 cal and then picking up an M4 on the turret to shoot more accurately in Iraq, so i put a steel legion lasgun next to a heavy stubber on an enclosed medusa turret with a tank commander on top for my guard. The Maltese Cross for Black Templars is a pretty obvious crossover.
5000pts Order of the Bloody Rose
2000pts Cadian.
5000pts.

Because it was used by the REAL templars...IIRC
Not for any reason really, the proportions are way off, but these guys http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greys Remind me of Tau (earth caste)

Technically, they're not similar, they're identical. That is literally what BT are, templars in space
Doesnt that remind you of a certain Titan Hunter we all know and love?
(note I put my Baneblade next to a guardsman and referenced the size. That thing is LARGER than a baneblade, to scale ofc).

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do.
