Tried to go back to warseer today. The main sight says they are completing a move to new servers and should be up in a couple hours.

Why would anyone do that?  "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy" and it's always spreading computer viruses as well.

Never got a virus from them. I also have seen the bickering here. Dakka is not as safe and nice as some people seem to think. Not saying people are bad, just that it happens here as well as anywhere else.

The work we've done to eradicate any virus/malware on the forum database has been incorporated into a hardware update and complete system overhaul. We should have the site fully operational in the next couple of days. Basic site is back up now final dataloads should be complete soon.

A lot of people are members of both forums.
Warseer is a friend of DakkaDakka, if you like. We're happy to share and support.
That said, regular updates that they aren't up yet but will be later are not of any use.
Please would people try to post actual news? Like when the forum is back on line.
