All of their stuff looks really cool and is reasonably priced, but I don't know anything about them or know anyone that has purchased from them.

Are their models as good as the pics? Any bubbles/lines/quality control? Do they have any sort of return policy?

Thanks

Now might be a good time to make your purchases form CH studios .. they're in a legal mumbo-jumbo with GW. The products might not be available for too much longer.

I like stuff.

Be aware that currently Chapterhouse threads are soon filled by trolling. Don't ask why.
If you like the products, buy them. I am happy with them.

Huh, that's odd.

Well, I haven't bought anything from them before, but their stuff looks neat. I just wanted some feedback from fellow Dakkanauts...looks positive so far!

Haven't ordered anything from them but they look to have high quality.

As for their future, i imagine the worst case, they'll end up changing names of products. Seriously, for some reason anytime someone says "Chapterhouse" it's like the magic keyword that activates the neuro-conditioning embedded in every rabid armchair lawyer on the internet.

I've only heard good things about their model quality and service.

I have most of their shoulderpads and several of the Rhino Conversion kits. There is *some* trimming that was needed to get the Rhino kits to fit the Rhinos themselves, but no worse than I have had to do with Forge World vehicle kits.

I hope and plan to make another purchase when some more kits that are in the pipeline are available (and I have the spare money)..

I have had several good conversations with their owner as well as the original sculptor for the majority of their original offerings, and have no issues with them either. One minor shipment problem got resolved lickety split.

Disclaimer - CH is a advertiser on Bartertown.. and as I am staff there there might be some bias. I don't THINK there is, but I felt it should be mentioned.

I actually received a package from them today in the mail! and the quality is excellent, I have had resin and metal parts from other companies that haven't even come close to them, I have some pics I took this morning in my blog if you wanted to have a look at what they look like unpainted?

all in all, good to deal with, good quality products.

They'll be fine. Right after that kicked off CH changed a lot fo thier stuff from things like "Space Wolf upgrades" to "Games Workshop Space Wolf compatible upgrades" It's a stupid little change, but sometimes that's all it takes to get the lawyers off your back.

It should be noted that GW has featured CH bits on their website without crediting CH even a little bit.. so yeeeaaaahhh.

I buy their products and have even had them do custom work for me (shoulder pads for my chapter). I'm really happy with the quality of their work and people seem to respond well to the figures I make with their bits.

I have the combi weapons, a few shoulderpads, and the jump packs (plus forgeworld heresy armour for vanguard vets), I had to get replacements from forgeworld but the chapterhouse stuff is mostly good. Point of note though, those jump packs have some odd and frustrating mold shifts some times

If they were bad enough you might send a pic back to them & see if they'd make it right. As a small business, keeping customers happy is probably still important to them.

I have some of their combi-weapons. They look pretty good, I'm pretty happy. A bit pricey but still cheaper then anywhere else so it's hard to complain too much.
