I'm about to start construction of a Herald of Tzeench, and between the two screamers, enough chain/cable to make a convincing looking set of reigns, and the disk (Thanks Soul of Iron) with rider, it's going to be a big assed, long base. I'm guessing in the neighborhood of 40mmx50mm? I also considered biker base size of 25x50, but it seems like it might be too top heavy.
With that said, what do you guys suggest for a basing size?
Lastly, how do you feel about the bases size giving CC advantage to your opponent?
Will I be gimping my Herald by giving his such a huge base?

I use chariot bases with added round base (halves) on the end since I only play em in 40K.

Ill try to get a pic up for you. This creates a huuuuuge footprint, true, but I prefer a stable model

Having such a big print does have some downsides. Landing the thing in the first place may get tricky, more stuff can get into direct assault etc. Nothing I couldnt live with though.

Excellent.

I was thinking deep strike might be a bit of a problem.
Would love to see that pic.
