My wife won't play wargames.

However, she does play in a Pathfinder campaign with me. Half-Elf Ranger. She's deadly with a bow...

You know when you watch couples in movies who sweep aside all the stuff on the table to engage in amourous activities?

My partner and i don't do that. We just move to another room.

She plays SoB.

I'm working on getting my wife into at least Infinity with me. Part of the deal of me trying *her* DnD, was that she tried ONE game of 40k or fantasy... so far, she hasn't held up her end of the bargain.

My wife is a major gaming geek, She plays Bloodbowl and Necromunda but not 40k, shes a known halo player and board admin and rpg-er since 97. She was a reaper employee and we know the owners of reaper through her old job. Plus she is attractive and getting her PhD. Go figure

My wife doesn't play, it's more than I can ask for that she doesn't, necessarily, mind that I collect little men! Her thing is Capoeira (Brazillian Martial Arts), and she's an Architect!

Oh well, more plastic crack for me!

I'd be a Warcraft Widow if we had a PC that would run it properly. However, Mrs ArbeitsSchu has dabbled in gaming, and isn't against it in principle. However wee Baby ArbeitsSchu has rather put a stranglehold on any real future gaming.

"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious—makes you so sick at heart—that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all" Mario Savio

Yeah she plays, 40K, Mordheim, Blood Bowl, various others, previously Warhammer before we dropped out a month back.

Her main 40K army is Dark Eldar while she waits for SoB.

She also posts here every so often under the name Aurelia.

My girlfriend has just started getting into 40K. Hasn't played a game yet, but she's got a decent start on a Blood Angels army. She's got the battleforce, Sanguinary Gaurd, Furioso Dreadnought, Stormraven, and Baal Predator.

My fiance' wants to learn Fantasy, and won't touch 40k with a ten-foot pole (though she does like the Tyranid models).

What she actually does play is Anima Tactics. Fun little game and amazing miniatures.

"I have concluded through careful empirical analysis and much thought that somebody is looking out for me, keeping track of what I think about things, forgiving me when I do less than I ought, giving me strength to shoot for more than I think I am capable of. I believe they know everything that I do and think, and they still love me. And I’ve concluded, after careful consideration, that this person keeping score is me." -Adam Savage

My wife is a supermodel with a PhD in Sexification who plays 40k And Fantasy while painting Golden Demon Winning Miniatures. And when she's not playing or painting we're having sexy parties with all of our sexy friends.

Spoiler:
I've been divorced for some time now and stalk the baristas at the local coffee shop while working on armies that I'll never play.

Mine has played a game or 2, but she likes to talk about it way more than do it. When she decides the time is right, any of my armies that I have assembled/converted/painted will suddenly become hers to play with. I look at it this way, at least she isn't telling me 'NO'!

I don't know whether to laugh or feel sorry for you.....

You know, you could invest in a "Real Doll", she won't mind you playing wargames, hell you could even dress her up as a SoB, and she won't divorce you either.....and when YOU get bored, hell, just go buy a new one....

Mine plays Craftworld Eldar and Dark Eldar, depending on her mood.

She doesn't play as often as I'd like, but then i like to play near constantly

We also play Pathfinder (Gnome Alchemist for me (i like to see things go boom!) and Half-Elf Rogue/Snake-bloodline Sorceror for her (creepy..)

We paint models while watching movies int he evening, but the kids don't often give us enough time for a full game, so it's more about the collecting/painting than the playing for her right now

My girlfriend plays Eldar. She painted her first model last summer with me, a Firestorm Armada Sorylian battleship...holy , not only can she paint, but she can PAINT. Stupid good, but it takes her like six hours to paint a single figure.

She also used all her Eldar transfers for her nails one day...probably the awesomest thing I've ever seen.
