I need Dkok. £150's worth. However i dont want to spend £18 on them being shipped in thin bags in a box.

Does dakka know anywhere to get cheaper forgeworld or forge world without p+p.

I dont want second hand stuff, and i dont have the funding to spend over 250.

Cheers in advance
JP

Only ways to get ForgeWorld is to order from the website, go to Warhammer World(At GW HQ), or buy second hand from someone.

Shipping is really that bad? You have a UK flag next to your name and I can't imagine shipping being that bad. GW bunkers and some hobby stores can usually order Forgeworld stuff for you and you can pick it up at the store.

FYI Shipping on all orders $250 and over is free.

If you got $250 to spend... there you go and you did just say you did.

This is an Oxymoron...

I have found good deals on E-bay, but of the 2 I purchased, both were warped.

Out of nearly 50 Forge World kits I purchased (from Forge World or a hobby store) only 3 were rendered 'unbuildable'. I paid full price for these.

Many people sell these kits if they think they can't fix warpage and don't feel like sending it back despite the sterling replacement service. It's pot luck, but deals are out there.

Forgeworld have been gak lately with replacement, when I sent them the pictures showing how badly my achilles and pre-heresy pieces were warped (and my frigginc aestus) they told me to immerse in water...

Honestly, a kit shouldn't require an entire strip of greenstuff (1 of the 3 the pack come with) just to build the damn model.

Ever since then, I've been pissed @ them.

I am pretty sure in UK you can because when the Battle Bunker existed (GW HQ) in Oakville, Ontario, Canada; you could order FW from them with no shipping costs.

You want to buy forgeworld products without going through forgeworld....

My guess is that some of the larger stores carry it.

I'm 90% sure you can order instore and not pay PnP. I know that's how it works with the GW site, so I assume FW isn't any different.

I have had to to fix warpage quite a few times, but they were easy fixes. The only pieces I had that were unbuildable, were pieces bought at a local shop that I later found out were 're-stocked' after the original purchaser returned them.

Forge World has always been great about replacements in my experience.

You warm the parts in water till they soften and then straighten them. This is extremely common with resin kits.

FW have been nothing but great with replacement issues. Yes, they expect you to be able to cope with warping - by immersing in warm water - as that is part of the deal with detailed resin kits.

You should be able to go to your store and order there, with shipping to the store. They just add them to the stores order for the week, making it cheaper for them to send. Or got o nottingham and get it straight from the factory

FW has always had steller replacement service if something is truely unusable.

warped resin is extreamly common and, unless its absolutly twisted back on itself, very warm water is usually sufficient to fix the problem.
