Hello,

I like to know your opinon about this new codex. I prefered experience than teorie.

I love it because design of models and fluff.

But I´m worried about codex game power.

What do you say about Kabal, Wych and Pain cult? Is best performace only one cult or combination? What about play style of this army (shoting, cc in vehicles, cc on foot, cc by webway etc.

I have one big trouble - I play with stronges codexes - BA, SW nad IG and I don´t like always loose my battle becase powerless codex

Best regards

Martin

I'd recommend checking the articles section; Thor's produced(ing?) a great set of articles for Dark Eldar, as has Ketara and Dash of Pepper, these 3 all know what they're talking about when it comes to Dark Eldar.

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now."

Thank you for this information.

The pure theme lists are not very competitive.
any list is going to NEED ravagers to be competitive these days.

any CC list is going to need a unit of trueborn or two. It then gets better if you mix incubi, wracks, and wyches to get out of each what they do best.

a shooty list might have at its heart a lot of kabal warriors and trueborn but it will need a unit of wyches for tieing things up in CC.

Okay, first off I'd suggest looking at my DE Tactica (link is in my sig) for a fuller read on what my thoughts are.

If I had to say what I thought was the most competitive build I would say Vehicles, in some combination of assault/shooting.
Overall I would say the Wych Cult and Kabal are most competitive, with Covens being a reasonably distant third.

I believe the DE codex is more powerful or just as powerful as the BA and SW codex.
IG can be very nasty though, and is probably the strongest codex currently.
DE do not have a weak codex.

Hope that helps.

Thor.
