This is the start to my Dark Eldar Army.

So first ill post the pics and soon I hope to have posted the fluff that I have been coming up with for them.

The figures look good in gold/brass. They do need a bit of work though especially the bases, also the silver parts dont look as good for some reason, maybe start with boltgun metal/badab black then a chainmail/mithril silver highlight.

Thanks Perkustin, The silver looks good in person but I agree it doesn't look great in the pics.

The bases do need work but I am saving that for later.

Did you thin your paints? I think that big surfaces like the golden hull of the Raider would look smoother. IMHO Smoother paints = better looking stuff, YMMV.

Erasoketa yes I did thin my paints but the reason why it looks uneven is because i put some wash into the little crevices and haven't finished painting over the residue that didn't go into the crevices.
