I just got back from the army in november, i started playing 40k while i was in the military and i really dont want to give the game up, i love it!! if there are any 40k players in north east texas please just post on here so we can get together for a game, im a noob but i really enjoy the game and want to continue it i live in a small town called Emory (you can google it) but i am more than willing to travel for a game or two within reason. Thanks all!!

The hobbytown USA in Tyler supposedly does 40K on occasion. Check with them. That's about your best bet in your neck of the woods, because you are about 2 hours from any other 40K (Dallas area, Shreveport La)

Yeah you're right in the middle of two big areas :( I got excited when someone was looking for a game in Texas and forgot how big Texas really is.

As a 40k player who was stuck in Longview for several years, I can assure you that there isn't a lot going on in that town. I would definately check Tyler as there was a gaming store there that had opened when I left the area a few years ago, and check the hobbytown.
Shreveport has a great store, but you are closer to Dallas, so check for gaming stores over there cause I know there are several.
I have a friend who lives in Carthage that plays, but that is pretty far from you and he just got married so I doubt he has the time.

The Dragon's Lair in Shreveport, LA is two hours away from you. They have a tournament once per month...on the 4th weekend of the month I think. This month it is Memorial Day weekend, 3 rounds 2,000 points, $10 entry fee.

As an added bonus, I'll be there! =D And there's a sideshow event at this tournament for $200 cash that you won't want to miss.

If you're still looking for players, I just moved back to the Longview area. I play mostly Space Marines and Imperial Guard.

I live about 30 mins from fort worth. In a small town called Weatherford.
